Maddow and Schultz: Can Obama "Soothe" "Disgruntled" Progressives Before 2012?

The big theme of the recent news cycle was progressive disenchantment with Obama, a widespread sense that he hasn't lived up to his promise. There's even been overhyped, but nonetheless present chatter about "would Hillary have been better?"

But how will that translate in the 2012 election, and what can the President do, if anything, to reassure wavering supporters of his progressive bona fides?
