Reports have surfaced that FBI officials raided the homes of six suspected Anonymous hackers early this morning.

According to Fox News, agents reportedly searched homes in Brooklyn, Long Island, and Baldwin, N.Y., where more than ten agents arrived at the home of Giordani Jordan. Jordan was allegedly being used in a “coordinated distributed denial of service attack” against several companies. Agents with search warrants for computers and computer-related accessories spent almost two hours at Jordan’s house.

The persons targeted by the FBI searches are in their late teens or early 20s, and no arrests have been made.

The searches were part of an ongoing investigation into Anonymous, which took responsibility for attacks against websites like Visa and Mastercard.

It is an interesting day for a search on hackers' homes, as LulzSec hackers took over Murdoch's The Sun website earlier today.
