Stephen King Slams Tea Party, Suggests Putting Florida Governor Rick Scott in Horror Novel
It's good to have creative folks on the right side of issues. Bestselling novelist Stephen King made a surprise appearance at a rally in Sarasota, Florida (where he pays taxes). He slammed the Tea Party, mocked Scott Walker and Florida Governor Rick Scott, spoke about his impoverished upbringing, and asked why he, now a rich person, wasn't paying more taxes. He shouted out high-speed rail, thanked unions and said "maybe my next horror novel should star Rick Scott." This is a must-watch five-minutes.
