Via Gawker, this video shows a campaigning President Obama promising to join the picket lines of hard-working Americans being denied their rights--which is happening right now in Wisconsin. Of course, as Gawker blogger Max Read notes, things change from the campaign rallies to the White House. But what a morale booster, what a wonderful thing it would be if would be if the President showed up for just a few hours to picket with the hard-fighting, deserving Wisconsin workers.

He says in the video:

"If American workers are being denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when I'm in the White House, I'll put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself, I'll walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States of America. Because workers deserve to know that somebody is standing in their corner."
