Jon Stewart Hilariously Spoofs Media Coverage, Glenn Beck on Egypt

Last week The Daily Show was on hiatus so last night it had to play a little catch-up on Egypt -- which made for some terrific jokes from 'Cairo correspondent' Aasif Mandvi. But even better were Stewart's collected clips showing how absurd the media coverage of the situation was. American pundits crediting the internet for the uprising was an easy target, but he really gets motoring once he delves into the 'deeper, more I-told-you-so-y, type cause'; Fox News and Glenn Beck get the best skewering. ('Freedom fries and J-Date' is our new Facebook status update.) This is media critique at its finest -- check it out.
