Palin Hires Bob Dole's 'Right Arm' as Chief of Staff

With each passing day we get closer to Sarah Palin bid for 2012, and with each passing day, we ask ourselves, 'Is this actuallyhappening?' We still just expect to wake up to Ashton Kutcher pointing and laughing at us for buying into such an elaborate prank. But no... it's happening. And the latest development in the years-long nightmare that is Palin's ambition -- she has hired a new Chief of Staff for her PAC.

Politico reports that Sarah PAC has taken on Michael Glassner as its new head, a veteran Republican strategist and lawyer who headed the vice presidential operations during the McCain/Palin run in '08. He also spent over 20 years as a senior adviser to Bob Dole throughout his Senatorship and Presidential run. In 1996, the Washington Post characterized him as 'Dole's right arm.' Fun fact, he was also at one point asenior adviser to the chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

So yeah, she's mostly likely running. Can we hit the fast-forward button?
