WikiLeaks Has Documents on News Corps and Rupert Murdoch, Claims Assange

In an interview that will run in tomorrow's New Statesman, Julian Assange claims that WikiLeaks has documents pertaining to Rupert Murdoch and News Corps. The files are part of a larger collection that Assange says will be released "If something happens to me or to WikiLeaks."

Details are sparse, but Assange has teased that they, " ... speak more of the same truth to power."

On Tuesday, Assange's lawyer Mark Stephens arguedthat he could face the death penalty if he's extradited to Sweden and then turned over to the States. The Swedish government has denied claims that they're in negotiations with US authorities to hand over Assange.
