Woman Who Stripped Down to Lingerie in Protest of TSA Gets Banned From Flight

Earlier this month we covered the story of Tammy Banovac, former surgeon and onetime Playboy model, who made headlines for stripping down to her skivvies to avoid receiving one of the TSA's demeaning "enhanced pat-downs." (Banovac is wheelchair-bound, and therefore cannot go through metal detectors.) Despite wearing only her lingerie, Banovac was still patted down by the TSA -- twice.

As if that indignity wasn't enough, Banovac has now been banned from a flight altogether. Oklahoma's NewsOn6.com has the bizarre story:

Last month security denied her access because they said they found traces of nitrate somewhere on her body.

Now, it's something near her bottom that is raising a red flag.

"The stated reason was there was... They were unable to clear an unusual contour of my buttocks area," said Banovac.

Tammy wouldn't say what the unusual contour was, but says she's sleeping at the airport. She was told she would be allowed to board her flight home Wednesday morning.
