RIP Leslie Nielsen: Watch His Character Take on 80s-era Axis of Evil

Beloved comic actor Leslie Nielsen passed away yesterday at the age of 84.  Here he is taking on the US's foreign policy bogeymen one by one in 1988's "The Naked Gun:"

Progressives might remember Nielsen's iconic bumbling policeman Lt. Frank Drebin as the guy who sent "Barbara Bush" careening into a wall during an ill-fated White House dinner in its sequel, Naked Gun 2 1/2. We'll always be grateful for that mental image.
