House Moves Again to Repeal Obamacare
It hasn’t even been a fortnight since the Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act, and the House of Representatives have already voted in favor of a repeal. All Republicans supported the repeal in this afternoon’s vote, along with five Democrats - Mike Ross (AR), Mike McIntyre (NC), Larry Kissell (NC), and Jim Matheson (UT) -- in a vote of 244 - 185.
This is the 33rd time House Republicans have voted to repeal any part of the law. The decision will go to the Democratic-controlled Senate, where the measure to repeal Obamacare will most likely die, as it did the last 32 times.
