WATCH: Jon Stewart Explains Everything That Is Wrong With Florida

This was his way of introducing the night's guest, GOP senator Marco Rubio.

It’s almost too easy to make fun of Florida, as Jon Stewart proved last night. To welcome the evening’s guest, GOP senator Marco Rubio, Stewart ran through a (long) list of the state’s flaws. He introduced us to a whole cast of characters, from the guy who attempted to exchange a baby alligator for a 6-pack to the man who attempted to shoplift a chainsaw by stuffing it into his pants.

He also berated county officials who are flouting the recent passage of same-sex marriage legislation by refusing to conduct courthouse weddings. Judging others for their sexual orientation is a bit rich, Stewart said, coming from people who live “in a giant cockroach-choking, hazard-infested, Hooters-dining, reptile-abusing, Everglades-draining, election-ruining, stripper-motorboating, ball-sweat scented, genitalia-shaped 24-hour mugshot factory.”

Watch the deliciously mean clip below, and stick around for the interview with Rubio.
