I Was Wrong About Bush's Popularity

I've written in the past that there is hard-core group of George W. Bush loyalists -- about 25-30 percent of the population -- who would still view their president favorably if he walked into their home, whipped out the Executive Organ and proceeded to urinate on their children.

Apparently, I was wrong:

"Overall, 19% of Americans say that they approve of the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president, 77% disapprove, and 4% are undecided." [ht: Atrios]

Dear DNC,

Please print up a few million bumper stickers that read: 'If you liked George W. Bush, then you'll love John McCain!'
