How the Right Uses People of Color to Foster Racism

By Margaret Kimberly, Black Agenda Report. Posted April 4, 2007.

White supremacy, sensing the need to repackage itself for consumption in polite company, partially fills the demand for racist bile by outsourcing to mercenary writers of color. Michelle Malkin and Dinesh D'Souza -- of Filipino and Indian descent, respectively -- are top guns of the genre, ever eager to slander non-whites, especially Blacks, as threats to Euro-American white "civilization."

For premium fees, Malkin and D'Souza act as trusted Gunga Dins and shock troops for fascism. The corporate media makes advocates of racism and white American supremacy very rich. American racism also gives certain non-white people advantages. They are able to escape the indignity that black Americans face. They are then able to disassociate themselves and become allies with the very worst and most dangerous aspects of political life in this country.

Michelle Malkin, born Michelle Maglalang, is a dark skinned Filipino-American who loves the worst that white American civilization has to offer. Malkin is a darling of the right wing, a blogger and author who is eager to advocate invading other nations, and spewing hatred of immigrants in general and of Muslims in particular.

Malkin constantly rails against immigration, complaining about "drive by" and "accidental" citizenship attained by the children of immigrants who she and others label "anchor" and "jackpot" babies.

Malkin never told her loyal readership that her father came to the United States in 1970 on a temporary work visa. She was born in October 1970. Malkin is herself a jackpot baby, given automatic citizenship when her parents were not even permanent residents. The truth may set you free, but it doesn't get you on Fox news.

In 2002 Malkin wrote that the internment of thousands of Japanese-Americans was "wrong and abhorrent." Who knows if she ever believed those words, but times changed quickly and there was a book deal waiting for an Asian who would approve past and future efforts to profile and then incarcerate non-white people.

Malkin is not just a self-hating Asian. She is a two-faced liar, having condemned Japanese internment just two years before defending it in print. In 2004 she wrote In Defense of Internment: The Case for "Racial Profiling" in World War II and the War on Terror. When racists fantasized about interning Arabs, she helped provide ammunition:

Make no mistake: I am not advocating rounding up all Arabs or Muslims and tossing them into camps, but when we are under attack, 'racial profiling' -- or more precisely, threat profiling -- is justified. It is unfortunate that well-intentioned Arabs and Muslims might be burdened because of terrorists who share their race, nationality or religion. But any inconvenience, no matter how bothersome or offensive, is preferable to being incinerated at your office desk by a flaming hijacked plane.

White people are never "inconvenienced" by raced based incarceration, even though there are white domestic terrorists, serial killers, and shooters in schools. Apparently Malkin thinks that is just fine.

Common sense makes it obvious that Malkin's dark skin has been problematic for her and she admits as much. "Here are some of the racial epithets I've been called in my lifetime: Chink. Gook. Jap. Nigger. Slant eyes. Dog-eater." She also suffered the color consciousness created by European colonialism:

Back in the Philippines, upscale restaurants refuse to hire natives with skin darker than sand. The movie industry promotes model 'mestizos' and 'Maria Claras' -- pale as paper due to the blanching effect of Spanish blood. Lighter-skinned cousins mocked me as 'The Brownie.' Pitying aunties suggested rubbing my skin with pumice stones for a more desirable complexion.

Malkin could have used these painful experiences to fight against racism, but that is a much tougher way to live and to get paid. Being a mouth piece for white/right America is a more certain path to a fat bank account.

Malkin and to a lesser extent D'souza are damaged individuals...

These two individuals seem extremely emotionally damaged by their experiences in European society. They possess (especially Malkin) what Franz Fanon termed a colonized mentality. They have been brainwashed to hate their identity. They constantly compare their cultures to European values and culture and always find theirs inferior. Their frustration with racism was turned inward against themselves and they promote the worst of Western racist and imperialist dogmas as a way of denying their own identities which they wrongly blame for their suffering at the hands of Western racism.

They have been recruited to advocate for the causes championed by the leaders of imperialist societies striking down all those critics, European and non-European, as decadent and vile in order to feel more closely identified with the colonial master.

This may be a simplistic knee-jerk leftist reaction to what is indeed a complex psychological phenomenon. History is full of such examples. Jews joining Neo-Nazi organizations is one example. There are others. Each time there seems to be a self-loathing and blame of one's self for the hounding and suffering felt by years of racist oppression. The message sinks in that the one against whom the racism is directed must indeed be inferior. In response, the victim lashes out in endeavor to "join" the oppressor in order to "save" himself and evade suffering. In the end only more self loathing can ensue.

People cant forever stay silent on issues such as out of controll immigration(legal or illegal)just because they happen to be black. To my it would be like the Soviet Union;because some crazy policies we'd be forced to back some insane, suicidal stupidity!

This is one of the reason why colored people dont take part in politics(for example i dind't vote)You try not to make a big issue out of stuff like immigration or outsourcing because it's a "white mans thing" but eventually as the situation becomes worse, it becomes impssobile. Still many colored people try to avoid becoming "race traitors" as much as possible. You try to be loyal to the ideals of multiculturism and tolerance, but at some point it simply becomes impossible. I had a change of voting a black candidate(I live in Europe but wont say where)but didn't! I actually emailed BOTH to a white and black canditate to ask about an issue that is VERY important to my! The white one was atleast honest, and answered wery soon after he got the email. His answer wasn't however what i was looking for. The black candidate(quite frankly a snob)didn't even bother to answer my, so at the end of day i decidet not to vote for ANYONE!

We colored people do take A LOT of bullshit from out leaders(who have teamed up with the white, globalist elite)but at some point is simply has to STOP! I mean, people in Asia and Africa teamed up with the Soviets during the cold war. Ofcourse they KNEW what short of people the Soviets truly were! You tried basicly to just strike the deals and get the weapons, that were the only thing standing between you, and utter DEFEAT You just tried to basicly ignore the HORRORS that went on in Eastern-Europe, but eventually Soviet(white)arrogance made that simply impossible, and it lead to an example to the Sino-Soviet split.

The point is, we "colored" people have taken A LOT of crap from our leaders for political reasons, and still do(one example would be Zimbabwe, where the issue is either having the country go to ruin or giving the white man back his farms, and i personally would have those farms permanently poisoned, blow up mines and burn the oilfields before doing so!) but sometimes enough simply is ENOUGH! The trade of human beings(and ESPECIALLY children)simply is just WRONG! The current "globalisation" maybe killing the white race(as if i would care?)but it's also destroying our economy and culture. Im willing to live without a white, European culture and a world, but this human trade also causes extreme misery, and destroyes our economy. It's destroying our LIVELYHOOD! It's KILLING US!

Our colored leaders have become all PAWNS! I dont care about "race" and i dont care about "culture" or "traditions" either, but the current "globalisation" is KILLING US, and im afraid if this goes on, a lot of people can no longer remain silent! They ARE NOT going to ram that garbage up our throats much longer! Not without A FIGHT!!!

Is it not racist in itself to suggest that these people are Toms and whores for the white man? Do we hold non-white wing nuts to a higher standard than white ones due to our own subconscious racism?

Does the left have a romantic attachment to "people of color", and unrealistic expectations to go with it? That's an easy one, but...

I tend to think that the Dark Side is an equal opportunity employer, as long as you think like them. It's more about ideology, psychology and economics than race. But it's still kind of a grey area, which makes an interesting discussion.

This author writes with as much venom and bile as she accuses Malkin and d'Sousa of having. She is irrational and consumed with hatred toward those she sees as "race traitors." And I thought the Left believed that race is merely a social construct!

I made a conscious decision years ago to go into a profession (science and engineering) that is as far removed from racial issues as possible. Likewise with the neighborhood where I chose to buy a house, and with the friends and acquaintances I keep. I want to avoid those on both sides of the political spectrum who are so full of bile, anger, and resentment toward anyone who has a different opinion than theirs that they can't think straight.

This author is typical of the kind of person that I, and likely many millions of other white Americans, do everything possible on a daily basis to avoid having anything to do with. Leftists can impose speech codes and try to mandate equality of outcome all they want, but they can't force us to respect or voluntarily have anything to do with people such as this author.

IF there were no market for the above named writers racist fare, there would be no debate over it.

Forty years after the Kerner Commission report, racism in America remains a white problem.

When the masses get over white supremacy it will go away.

O'Reilly and Michelle Malkin are both catholic. He rides her about her inexperienced youth. That isn't a joke and she can't say anything back about it because it's true. Are they using her for gaining a color base? Pinoy people are probably just as likely to be republican than anything else because of Marcos and our right wing support of them.

Are they really anti-black, anti-asian, and anti-immigration? Probably. Are they pro-white and doing these things to keep their job? Probably.

Dick Morris and the rest of them haven't really done anything to stop or reduce any immigration or hated people out of existence. Just talk. O'Reilly too. Though he has changed from his Hard Copy hard hitting days. He isn't even doing a good job convincing people of their view points. They are on the way to being irrelevant as Britney Spears. And they know it.

Sorry.... but I really don't think that the secret enclaves of powerful whitemen really care about racism. They never have. Slavery was based upon the harsh realities of cold economic logic, not any kind of racial entitlement, since poor whites were living in similar conditions, and were also "slaves" under the conditions of indentured service. Any type of dialogue that talks about racism is really a type of doublethink. The reality is that rich white people don't give a shit about either poor blacks or poor whites. How many of the soldiers who have died in Iraq and Afhganistan have been white? There is no such thing as class loyalty among the Upperclasses. This is just an extension of the divide and conquer tactic employed in all eras of class warfare. So, are the Right using black newscasters to mask rightwing agendas with the veneer of political correctness/liberalism, yes, but I highly doubt it has anything to do with racial loyalty.

Silicians whose blood line was corrupted by the moorish and African influence but this doesn't apply to ALL Italians, particularly those in the Northern part of Italia. The author claims in the initial sentence that all Italians are 'non-white' and this is not true.
ps: I'm kidding (although those in N.Italy would agree with me) to point out how rascist the author, and those on the left, are. To view the world through a lense in which every person, activity, or transaction is viewed/filtered/identified as to race is in itself prejudgice and racism. Both for the 'right' or the 'left'. Likewise the racism of the 'self-hating' jew stereotype, and does the 'uncle tom' racism have a long history. I'm glad to see the progressive add a new rascism to the 'debate' the 'self-hating' oriental! Good job!

Like Kimberley, I always thought D'Souza's obsession with Black people had something to do with how his coloring was a tad bit too close for comfort. Mainly, instead of obsessing over the affairs of Black people, D'Souza needs to examine why his people do not serve in the military! What is up with that? I am from a military family and have several cousins and a brother in law who serves and I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED AN INDIAN or PAKISTANI in the service. Our paper ran a memorial to all the people who have died serviing the US in the Iraqi war and not one is from either of those ethnic groups, including D'Souza's. Unless their name was Smith, Gonzalez or Lam!! America has given them so much, and so many opportunities, including the opportunity to get rich writing for think tanks; and yet he has not used his power to encourage his people , who are getting rich over here, to serve, what is up with that? "Why do Indians and Pakistanis hate America!!!" LOL!

malkin shoots her mouth off to insult people with regularity. she is a self-righteous verision of Ann Coulter, who, unlike Malkin, does not take herself, or anyone else for that matter, seriously. But as unpleaasant as Malkin is, and biased in that she ignores evidence to the contrary of her positions, she is not racist that I can see. Oppostition to affirmative action, or to particular versions of it, is not per se racist. What specific comments has she made that are racist?

I'm a 71-year-old white male born in Southern California and raised in Texas and Louisiana by liberal parents.

Because of their influence on my speech, I got the crap beat out of me in grade school because I talked like a “Yankee.” The painful experience taught me two things: speak with a Southern accent (which I learned quickly) and be empathetic to minorities.

I can spot racists 10 miles away. The rightwing Republican Party is filled with them, along with rich bigots, gun nuts, homophobes, hypocrites, fascists, control freaks, Confederate flag wavers—the Trent Lotts, Tom Delays, Jerry Falwells, Ralph Reeds, Bill Bennetts, Charlton Hestons, Duke Cumminghams, Ann Coulters, Rush Limbaughs, G. Gordon Liddys, Sean Hannities...the list goes on and on. Those assorted groups and individuals have one thing in common. They hate liberals with a passion, which I don’t understand.

According to my dictionary, liberal means being a “free-man, not restricted,” someone who “favors political reform.” My fifth great grandfather, John Scott, fits that description perfectly.

He, too, wanted unrestricted freedom and political reform. So in 1776, John left his Vermont farm with musket in hand and fought the British Redcoats. In my mind, John Scott and millions of Americans like him today -- modern liberals -- are the true patriots, not rightwing Republicans.

Liberals cherish individual freedom and will defend it to their deaths, if necessary. I think that’s admirable. Rightwing Republicans feel just the opposite. Listen to Talk Radio or watch Fox News, substitute “Jews” for “liberals” and you will get a taste of what Nazi Germany was like before WWII.

And why not? Conservative whites know they can't get away with slandering minorities (or they're too cowardly to accept the fallout from what they say), so they'd rather let their chosen plantation minorities do all the dirty work for them.

It's not just Malkin (a second-rate Ann Coulter) or D'Souza (a guy who comes from a country where the caste system, bride burnings and honor killings are customary and are seldom, if ever, prosecuted), but Larry Elder (black syndicated talk show host), Jesse Lee Peterson (the far right's inarticulate media darling), Starr Parker (former welfare mom) and Alan Keyes (former presidential candidate and hard-line conservative) who've gained fame and fortune through endless attacks on minorities.

Listen to any of these folks long enough and one would swear that minorities have done absolutely NOTHING positive. Everything they say is negative or blown so far out of proportion as to be almost unrecognizable. Every social problem is laid at the doorstep of minorities, but don't look to any of these people for SOLUTIONS because there's no money in that.

Not that I expect for everyone, even those who share the same skin colour as I to believe the same way I do, and this may come as a newsflash to some, but not every black or brown person thinks alike or does the same things. I could even respect any of the above-mentioned people if their endless tireades about "what's wrong with black/brown/muslim/fill in the blank" were actually based on substance and not just screaming and shouting and name-calling. They're not interested in making the lives of minorities better; they're interested in their own self-interest.

Didn't Malcolm X say that if you're not a part of the solution, you're part of the problem?

The price of adopting white culture
Posted by: Lesha on Apr 4, 2007 11:11 AM
Current rating: Not yet rated    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
All people (especially blacks) when exsposed to white culture of any kind will to some degree suffer from what is described in the article. Regardless if it is from slavery, colonization or a friendly exchange of cultures, non-white people all over the world exhibit these behavior traits.

In the Middle East in countries such as North and South Arabia (Yemen) along with other countries in North Africa like Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and a host of others. The blacks in these countries suffer from self hatred cause by white supremacy in the form of Arabism. These confused souls will defend their white ideology to the end to have their place in the Arab society. White culture also affects Non-whites (blacks and Indians) in Latin America who will also defend their place among their former white slave masters (The Spaniards) in exchange of reconignition. The following Also occurs in India with their caste system and in most of Asia to a lesser degree.

The point is that unlike other cultures, when one adopts white culture (European), they are accepting a culture that is designed to teach people hate to themselves while skillfully promoting themselves as the ideal people with all the answers to our problems but in reality are cause of all of their problems even in a indirect way.

Sooner or later people will figure this out.

Why Are Whites Obsessed With Race?

I cordially despise the "plantation massa" mentality of so many leftists. The condescending "vote like massa tell you & massa make sure you gets some set asides, welfares & food stamps" all the while doing everything possible to keep those who are both poor & ethnic as a powerless, but useful voting block. I have never been called "uppity", or accused of "Tommin'" by any right wing folk, only by leftist elitests who cannot stand to have their ingrained prejudices challenged. Because I am light skinned (high-yella in the vernacular), it is immediately assumed that I must have bought into the "white is right" mentality. What absolute garbage. What I have bought into is that no person who expects that someone else will provide them with the means of freedom & support for the rest of their days, is ever going to be really free or economically sound. Personal responsibility is something that all persons must accept, & stop whinging over imagined slights. Why in the world one would want to live the constant role of "helpless victim" is far beyond me. Simply observe the (highly above average) accession to middle class status of black Americans over the last 25 years, & the bullsh*tery & race hucksterism of the J.Jacksons & A. Sharptons of the world is exposed for just what it is, a self-serving power-ploy.

Personally , I would say yes-as distasteful as the likes of Michelle Malkin, Dinesh D'Souza( to say nothing of Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter and other "wingnutss) are to me.
It is the height of racism to say or claim that only white men have the right to hold whatever politics they do, whilest minorities and women must swear an oath to never stray off the ideological reservation) despite what even D'Souza and Limbaugh concede that the right wing's approach to racial equality is "lukewarm" to say the least(pace Malcolm X's celebrated quip that "conservatives say lets keep the n----rs in their place whereas liberals say "no,no, let's keep the knee-grows in their place!"

Warning: Meal spoiler..do not read within 2 hrs of next meal.
..it appears as if they do more than merely 'flock' together...
From Wiki:
Prior to his marriage, D'Souza had relationships with two well-known female conservatives, Laura Ingraham, a nationally-syndicated radio commentator to whom he was engaged but never married, and best-selling conservative author and commentator Ann Coulter.
