Jon Stewart on Romney's "Mr Burns" Moment: "Even His Dad Wouldn't Vote for Him"

Jon Stewart’s Daily Show crew hilariously satirized Mitt Romney’s now infamous comments about the “47 percent” of Americans “who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims,” and who therefore won’t vote for Romney.

Stewart had a lot to say on that, including comparing Romney to the Simpsons character Mr. Burns. Stewart also noted that Mitt Romney’s father, George, was on welfare when he first came to the U.S from Mexico. “According to Mitt Romney’s own logic, Mitt Romney could not win the vote of his dad,” Stewart said. Perhaps the best segment of the night, though, was Stewart’s crew mocking Romney’s comment that if he were Latino, he’d have an easier time of becoming president. “Everything in this country is easier if you’re Latino,” Al Madrigal said. Watch the clip:
