Which Countries Are Most at Risk From Super Storms and Extreme Weather?

An index, compiled from figures supplied by the giant re-insurance company Munich Re, lists 10 countries most affected in 2012 and the long-term climate risk from loss of life and damage.

The top ten for 1993 to 2012 are Honduras, Myanmar, Haiti, Nicaragua, Bangladesh, Vietnam, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic and Mongolia (equal 8th), and Thailand and Guatemala (equal 10th).
