Donald Trump's First Congressional Endorsement Is From One of New York State's Lowest Rated Members

Trump has received his first Congressional endorsement—but don't get too excited.

Donald Trump received his first Congressional endorsement Wednesday from Representative Chris Collins, who represents the 27th Congressional District of New York, a congressional district for the United States House of Representatives, in Western New York.

However, according to his 2015, congressional report card, Collins received some of the worst ratings compared with his peers. Among New York's congressional delegation, he was rated lowest in regard to joining bipartisan bills and second lowest when it came to writing them. He is also the most Conservative member of Congress in New York State.
 
Collins has also recieved intense scrutiny over exporting jobs from Western New York while claiming that he wants to create them.
