No surprise that a Bush-advocated program is a complete and utter failure. What's tragic about the results is that some untold thousands of kids might not have HIV today if they had received reality-based sex ed and that quite possibly millions of teenage girls might not have become pregnant as teens if they had received reality-based sex ed. The minor tradedy is that we as a nation have spent (closing in on) $2 Billion on this catastrophe.

And it never works, not just in schools, but in practice anywhere ever! I and my wife tought our kids about sex. We tought them to avoid pregnancys and disease, and (in accordince with our NATURE-based NATURAL faith as Kemetians) to HAVE responsibable sex when they are ready responsibably and BEFORE marriage. That's probably why 85% of Kemetian marriages succede. Only UNnatural, anti-logic, Xian fools would make a ment-to-be life-long commitment not even knowing what the hell their in for! I DEMANDED and got my kids taken OUT of the culturaly insensitive Xian-based BS sex "education" classes. And when I threatned to sue the bastard Xians on the school board for violating Seperation of Church and state they caned the class in my district all together! We have to stand up to these Xians and their insidious infiltration of our lives with their anti-human sick garbage and take back our rights, our schools, and our children to teach ourselves if need be and where approiate (as here)! 2000 years of failed crap and the entire planet on the verge of annilation thanks to them and their false "god's" insaniaty is MORE than too much!

When this regime sees "X" dollars in funding/procurement, the only consideration is "how can this money be used to further our agenda or reward our contributors/cronies." Efficacy isn’t a consideration. Most teens experiment with sex, probably more than you know or are comfortable with. Moreover, there isn't a whole lot you can reasonably do about it. Get over it.

We owe it to the kids to inform them about sexual health, disease prevention and birth control. We also owe them honest information regarding sexual orientation, dispelling myths and disinformation from the theocrats that would like nothing better than to be an American Judeo-Christian Taliban.

Do yourself a favor and educate your children to have a healthy and informed attitude toward sexuality. It's not shameful- it's beautiful. Repression and ignorance breed sexual violence, discrimination, misogyny, low self esteem and unwanted pregnancy. Information, openness and acceptance are the answer.

If my teen son or daughter is going to have sex with their partner or significant other I would rather it be openly, protected and for the right reasons. It makes a lot more sense than some drunken encounter where they are forced by peer pressure or a pushy partner.

That the more and better sex education that is provided to preteens and teens the fewer veneral diseases are contracted, the lower the pregnancy rate and the later the onset of sexual activity!
