SEIU Throws Down the Gauntlet to O’Reilly: Walk a Day in Our Shoes

Bill O’Reilly’s baseless attacks often sound so ridiculous they seem laughable, except for the fact that he makes a living out of slandering and bullying those who don’t comply with his radical right-wing agenda. Last week, O’Reilly set his smear sites on the SEIU, calling them “extremists of the far left” and blaming them for our economic problems. At C&L, John Amato suggests this comes down to SEIU’s support for Employee Free Choice and conservatives’ unfounded fears of giving workers the ability to unionize more easily. The irony though is that the SEIU does more for our country’s labor force in a single day than O’Reilly has in his entire lifetime.
O’Reilly is so out of touch with the concerns of the working class that the SEIU is challenging O’Reilly to spend a day with SEIU members. Watch their humorous response to O’Reilly’s absurd attacks. Then sign the petition to get O’Reilly to walk a day in their shoes.
