As we reported earlier this week, Blackwater and its founder Erik Prince are under fire yet again, this time for allegedly indulging in performance enhancing steroids while on the job. Lawyer Michael Ratner has sued the company on behalf of survivors and family members of victims of a brutal, unprovoked attack by Blackwater in Iraq which claimed 17 lives.

The suit accuses the company of fostering "a culture of lawlessness" among its guards and says the use of excessive force helps the company preserve a key selling point -- the fact that none of its protectees have been killed during the four-year-old war. Olbermann and Ratner elaborate on this further. They discuss how Blackwater's "willingness to kill innocent people" has been interpreted as a "strategic advantage" for the company. The feed on these videos is getting worse and worse. They are a waste of time to watch. I don't understand the technical reasons why and for, but it seems to me, if a common person like myself can't operate it with a click of my mouse, and watch it, virtually uninterrupted, it is inneffective and something needs to be done by the techinicians feeding this stuff. My computer is fairly fast, so i don't think its my end-especially, when many other video feeds come through reletavely quickly or instantly. Any technical advice?

One more piece of evidence that we ought to shut down this war right now and bring impeachment charges against the vice president, who has benefited handsomely, then the president, who has condoned the whole debacle. Do we really want to set up the next president —Democrat or Republican— with the precedent of a privately run army and private suppliers who shamelessly profiteer off people's misery?

It is not about getting him out of office it is about cleaning up the mess.

Biden can shake his big stick, but if he won't use it to censure torture exactly WHAT is he saying.

If he won't go after Bush on torture, he is in actuality covering up his own involvement in treason. Out or conspire in the cover-up. That is the impeachment issue. They just keep using it as a game piece. It is not. It is a fundamental issue.

Also the hockey player in the nude last night, nice Indian. Loved the shirt and the man, nice. Thank you. It was an honor. But you dissed it, is it reflexive for your culture to dis our culture? I think it is. I hear more of it just now on 'Joe'.

I get these in the mail all the time.

The Bremer team gave Blackwater pre-approval to kill anybody they feel like at the moment with impunity. The Iraqis have taken steps to rescind this, but the step that needs to be taken is this:

The US government should not be allowed to use mercenaries under any guise including "private security firms". Isn't this practice prohibited by the Constitution? I'll look it up later.

Regardless, if it's not against the law it should be.
