If Troy Anthony Davis is not granted clemency he will be executed for a murder that he says he did not commit. A case that was built almost entirely on eyewitness testimony has unraveled in recent years and, since the trial, seven out of the nine eyewitnesses have recanted their testimony, saying that the police coerced them. There is no weapon, no DNA and no motive. But the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles rejected his clemency request this past Friday.

Anti-death penalty activist and AlterNet Associate Editor Liliana Segura reviews the Davis case and what can still be done to stop his execution. She also has a few words of advice for Barack Obama.
