Vern has a long history of shady deals that always leave him wealthy and everyone else losing money. Once a scumbag always a scumbag. He's the perfect Republican Congressman, dishonest and corrupt.

Politics are all about corruption; this is the life blood of the system, obviously.

No party is "pure".

Even when an honest, idealistic candidate makes it in, they soon learn to go along to get along. Purity in politics is extremely short lived.

As they say with side effects of precription drugs:

"Live with it."

and the way that election was run was disgusting. A typical shitkicking by the republicans, with Jennings not getting the time of day for a recount. It is a microcosm of what happened around the country. Neocons have rigged voting down pat. If McCain wins in November I will not be surprised. I think that this country is rigged, bought and paid for. I really hope I am wrong, I really do. At this point though, I am scared that I am right. Getting back to Vermin Buchannan...ask him where he keeps his money, and why no taxes are paid on it. Ask him about all the shady businesses, and ask him under oath. Personally, I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire. He personifies the greed and despicable face of politics and life. I hope he burns.

Back in January, when Florida held its too-early primary (violated DNC rules), the "draw" for Florida voters was Amendment 1, promising, among other more important things, to give Florida homeowners an additional $25,000 homestead exemption. It did that, except it gave that additional exemption to homeowners with an assessed value greater than $75,000. So those of us who voted for this bill were DUPED! and Florida Democrats were screwed in the process. Talk about killing 2 birds...

Either these "Republicans" are trying to destroy what the real Republican Party was about by acting dumb OR these Republicans are really dumb, in fact you couldnt even call them Republicans, their Neo-Cons and it shows just how dangerous and out of touch with reality they really are.

Destroy the Republican image and people feel compelled to vote Democrat, but Dems all they do is vote and increase size of Government. Hey that's un-American as well. Vote McCain and your getting 4 to potentially 8 more years of Bush politics. Well I dont want that either, vote the smaller parties like Libertarian Party: Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin
