The leaked video George Bush does not want you to see. The president called for all cameras to be switched off before this speech at a closed-door fundraiser for Republican Pete Olson in Houston.  He then admits that the American economy is in serious trouble:

"There's no question about it, Wall Street got drunk, that's one of the reasons I asked you to turn off the TV cameras. It got drunk and now it's got a hangover. The question is how long will it sober up and not try to do all these fancy financial instruments."

Guess this is one of those YouTube moments Bush fears.

Well isn't he somethin'. And so funny! Just the cutest thing.

Everything must be just fine. I mean, if he's so happy how could anything possibly be wrong?

Obviously, the monster in the white house spends a lot of time on the subject of "Drunkeness"...

Now, I wonder what this revelation says about him???

It all seems so hilarious to him. Wall Street got drunk like college frat boys, nyuck, nyuck, nyuck. And look, they raped the nation and as much of the world as they could in their drunken frenzy...nyuck, nyuck, nyuck. And with typical fraternal patriarchal flourish, instead of expelling or suspending the frat boys I suppose we'll all wait for them to sober up and do the right thing...mhmm...and that means no fancy "instruments"...whatever that's supposed to mean.

Joke's on us. Joke's been on us the whole time.

Yuck, yuck, yuck.

This video is appearing all over the world. What an embarassment he is. I'll bet the soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan think he's a real riot. ANNA

Anna hit this one on the head. I heard about this on Young Turks and assumed that it was about as far as it would go. But thankfully, it has been picked up by the mainstream media. Frankly, I'm totally shocked. I figured, as when he usually makes his inane statements, they would just forgive his behavior as him joking around ("no weapons under here..."). But now two things are abundantly clear to everyone. 1) Bush really doesn't give a damn about any of us. 2) Bush is a complete imbecile. You can't watch this video without drawing those conclusions. It is also further proof that the Crawford Ranch is a complete sham.

Maybe they will begin to start point out McCain's lies, fabrications, and inane comments as well. I'm not holding my breath, but there's just a bit of hope.

Considering the stakes in this presidential campaign is Bush's comment really worth all this screed? OK, so he's an idiot. Even a sizable contingent of Republicans agrees with that. Now let's get back to the real issue of whether our democracy can stand another four years of neo-con assault on the Constitution.

I guess thats just another of those unspoken dangers of the completely free market that is supposedly going to bring about utopia for all of us.

I guess it was the regulations that made these guys disregard the regulations, common sense, the advice of Adam Smith, etc... and run their companies and our economy into the ground to grub for just a little more cash. After all.. they would have all been penniless begging on the street if they hadn't done this.

Bush Conducted Illegal Wiretaps of American Citizens

Bush has admitted to authorizing the NSA, a secretive spy agency, to conduct warrantless wire taps on American citizens. The spying even extends to postal mail. The NSA has also been collecting phone records in an attempt to build a database of every phone call that is made.

It is a great site, all kinds of impeachment info including talking points for congress.
