Keith Olbermann offers a special comment to Obama on Countdown.

Olbermann criticizes Obama for supporting the FISA bill regardless of the telecom immunity provision. But Olbermann also explains different ways how Obama can redeem himself; one of which would be a pledge, if elected president, to have his attorney general conduct a full scale criminal investigation of the telecom companies and former Bush administration officials for their acts of illegal domestic spying.

Digg!

The possibility of criminal prosecution is intriguing, but how much faith do we have in the judicial system post-Gonzales?

Olbermann under the bus and called him a "sell-out"...

spoke too soon, perhaps?

You all better hope he sticks around to pull back the pretty veneer slathered onto this administration by the MSM to reveal the true ugliness that makes up the core of everything this White House and the Republic Party have given to us the past eight years!

Keep on telling the truth, Keith! We need it now more than ever!

NO IMMUNITY

There must be no compromise or caving on this. If 'We the People' don't use our grass roots power to stop this FISA immunity thing, we can kiss the 4th Amendment good-bye and the rest of the Constitution will follow soon thereafter. NO IMMUNITY FOR TELECOMS! ACCOUNTABILITY FOR BUSH AND CHENEY! IMPEACHMENT NOW! CALL YOUR SENATORS AND OBAMA ON THIS AND IMPEACHMENT TOO.

WE THE PEOPLE CAN MAKE IMPEACHMENT HAPPEN
Defense of the Constitution knows no party.

There is a near complete media blackout about this critically-important event, so please pass the info on through your various networks.

Here's a video of Kucinich beginning his presentation on the floor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDZ8seg4Nr4

Download C-SPAN's transcript to see the individual articles and justifications: http://www.c-span.org/pdf/bush_impeach.pdf

Kucinich's office sent an email recenly alerting people that the http://www.kucinich.us website was "suspiciously" crippled, a few hours after introducing the Articles of Impeachment. Until they can restore the website and implement additional security measures, you can find the full list and detailed Articles at http://www.democrats.com/files/amomentoftruth.pdf and http://chun.afterdowningstreet.org/amomentoftruth.pdf

Show your support for Kucinich's efforts at http://www.myinfo.kucinich.us

Email the U.S. House Representatives to send your support for Impeachment at http://www.democrats.com/35-articles-of-impeachment. If you live in the U.S., call your Representative, ask for them at the Capitol Switchboard: 1-800-965-4701 or 202-224-3121 and call John Conyers of the Judiciary Committee, Steny Hoyer and Nancy Pelosi and demand that they do their jobs.
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO HOLD THOSE CRIMINALS BUSH AND CHENEY ACCOUNTABLE AND TO PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION!

If Bush, Cheney and other high-ranking officials are not brought to justice before the November 2008 election, they will never be held accountable for their crimes. They will have gotten away with murder.

Extensive documentation to accompany each article is at these websites:

Screw the civil Suits, I'm loving the Criminal prosecutions! A bit of a Titty twister for the Telecoms? So Boys which will it be - face imprisonment for High Crimes or are you finally ready to turn states evidence against the Admin- who knew full well this Bill held no cover for you criminally.
So Congressional testimony Or Orange Jumpsuits and Shackles?
Thanks John Dean, Jon Turley & Keith for revealing the loophole in this FISA bill,Which they did first over a week ago!So all my fellow liberal Lefties simmer down, there is a method to this 'madness'.Pass it before another comes back up blocking this avenue for Revenge against the Telecoms or even more beneficial the coercion to start Singing about what methods & tactics were used to force the Telecoms to comply with this corrupt Admin.
Sing lil' birdies Sing (CEO's), you may not only save yourselves a Trip to the Big House (they love a new 'pretty boy'),but you may save your company's future

"We the people" lost our voice some(?)time back.
Remember the cry of millions in this country and millions more round the world AGAINST THE IRAQ WAR. No body listened.
Do our leaders have duck=backs, or are they stone deaf?
Neither.
They just do not care!!

...Obama doesn't win the presidency? What's the great plan then, Keith? It'll be too late then but, of course, it already is.

At least you'll have covered your own ass with this pathetic "special comment".
