Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow discuss the FISA bill, and how President Bush is trying to defend the telecoms by saying not to be able to spy on Americans will somehow endanger Americans.

how big is 'telecom'?

Does telecom include cable TV shows?

They lied us into war, you know, that IS treason. And some TV people seem bent on driving up the stocks and futures markets indefinitely. What is the effect of those business TV shows on market speculating?

I bet it is considerable. I can see why they would want to not be held accountable.

They thought they were doing a good thing to get their guy in office and take over our government. They believed they would be good leaders.

Now, after spying and warmongering, they want immunity from us. I don't think that is a good idea. They must be held accountable.

...like that matters, though. If you have Comcast I hope you read your wee brochure that came with the March/April bill, if you paid that bill you implied by the paying of THAT bill you agree with each and every little word they put in there. Saying so we maybe coulda' spied on your asses via 3rd Party Persons, the Executive Branch, but oh well you paid the bill ignored the terms so now you're screwed.

"In an interview with Fox News (29 July 2005), intelligence expert John Loftus revealed that Haroon Rashid Aswat had connections to the British Secret Service MI-6 (emphasis added): "the entire British police are out chasing him, and one wing of the British government, MI-6 or the British Secret Service, has been hiding him... "

and later,

"LOFTUS: Right, Aswat is believed to be the mastermind of all the bombings in London."

And anyone who knows about 'false flag operations', such as the Bologna train station in the early '80s with CIA assistance, will end up viewing this telecom dustup and just have MORE questions to ask.

Such as why are they asking for immunity from prosecution ?

Essentially is saying the exact same thing.

In this bill, the powers of the executive to do this illegal spying have been expanded, and Obama is now saying he was never really that concerned about the telecoms' immunity, that giving them immunity is trumped by national security.

Another way of saying the same thing. He has buckled under to Bush.

Why aren't Maddow and Olbermann admitting this?
