Can cartoons be political, funny, and kid-friendly at the same time? We're giving it a try at Heartwood USA, a kids cartoon about climate change, kids kicking ass, and fighting political bullies.

Please check out the 4 minute pilot episode and let us know what works, and what doesn't, for you, your kids, and our cause.

This is just stupid!! With all the problems this country is facing, I'm pretty sure cow gas is not one of them!!! These people should spend their time and money working on a list of other problems.

Again I will say, "This is just stupid"!!!

I'm not expert on how kids relate or react...but I found it a bit too sophisticated at the start. I kind of liked it (maybe I'm just crude and like the topic of farts) and it seemed to throw suspicions on "the corporate daddy" in the background. Maybe that's enough for a start, to get kids (and some of us adults) thinking...Maybe the previous comment was right - about farts not causing global warming - but I don't think that was the real point of the cartoon.
