Based on the true story of Patsy Bates, this TV ad is for anyone who has had their health insurance denied, dropped or delayed.

The ad launched yesterday, as thousands of people poured into the streets of San Francisco outside the insurance convention, and in 19 other cities across the country, to protest the insurers and to advocate for guaranteed healthcare, such as HR 676 and SB 840, the federal and state bills for an improved and expanded "Medicare for All."

Remember that the health insurance giants have virtually limitless resources to fight back and protect their cartel. They will spend a billion dollars if need be to fly in every person from Canada who has had a bad experience with their health care system...and these stories will go into 24/7 rotation in the corporate media. The masses will only hear about how "horrible" universal health care is...

I think we'll still 5-10 years away from any real change.

As long as medical care is brokered by insurance companies -- for profit -- it will continue to be this way. With the billions at stake, there is almost no possibility of wresting medical care back from the robbers and extortionist who currently control the health care delivery system. We as a nation lack the will to change it. We haven't got the courage to think outside of our prejudice of anything labeled "socialized." We need a single payer system. We need to accept that other countries have figured out more humane and equitable ways of providing their citizens with health care, and we need to be humble enough to follow their lead. Adapt their systems; learn from their experiences. But, I'm not holding my breath.

are also making a profit in a statecombined system.
1.everybody is in it...
2.the boss or the state pays a part.
3.there is a appr. 4% deduction from your salary
4.you can insure extras( face lift, yoga etc.)
at extra premium.

a public/private system works cheaper and more efficent then;
only a state system
or
only a private system.

Ya got the wrong hombre.

Sure, theyre all crooked but look at america's money-bearing, money-wielding Med System

It aint the system its the SYSTEMS
Med systems may or may not pay for the care you wont get.

You all seem to have forgotten what Obama did say about health insurance under his administration and that is: A health insurance plan like the one that the US Congress has.
He didn't say anything about it being like the one Canada has. If you spread fear like the Right Wingers; we all lose.
As for Americans mindlessness when it comes to taking back our own country from these thugs in the white House...Well it's an International Shame.
The World and our own suffering generations to come will forever ask why we did nothing to stop it. There is NO EXCUSE!

You bet. Why should we bother saving our nation when, hey, I have gadgets and ... and ... dancing with the stars ! Gaming and mediocrity is what it's about ... isn't it?
