How solidly Republican will Christian evangelicals be in 2008? As the country enters the next phase in this historic election season, concern about the state of God's earth may be the issue that draws many believers into the Democratic camp.

Richard Cizik of the National Association of Evangelicals estimates that perhaps 40% of evangelicals will be "up for grabs" in November.

I just watched their report on military spending, excellent! I highly recommend it.

It is so nice to see real journalism for a change, a breath of fresh air to be sure. I can't wait to see more of it on the TV.

Please stop confusing evangelicals with good-natured Christians especially on the environment.

Peace-loving Christians always cared for the environment just like Hindus and moderate Muslims. Evangelicals, on the other hand, only cared about greed and power and they heavily believed in converting people to their dogma, terrorizing their own, and destroying the environment to keep their profits sky-high. Evangelicals never had a regard for the environment and never will. Once an evangelical actually goes green, environmentally wise and not on the money, then he or she leaves the evangelical fundie ideology and joins the peace-loving side who has respect for other people's beliefs and the environment.

PEACE
