We already posted something on this below, but I thought it bears repeating.

In response to recent military chatter that Bush intends to bomb Iran before his term is up (not to mention two years of beating the war drums), True Majority has just launched a campaign in support of Senate Resolution 356, which would require that any military action against Iran be explicitly approved by Congress.

This lovely video that accompanies the campaign, pieced together by Andrew Boyd & John Sellers, makes the case pretty nicely.

Regardless of whether the rumors are true, any resolution that takes King George's finger off the button gets my approval. Go on and email your Senator here.

Also, you can follow progress of S.Res.356 here.

...getting Georges finger off the button requires stopping his enablerss, the Theocons and the Neocons.

Baby Bush has no values or morals he is a sociopath. He may be the 'Decider' but it is others who push his buttons. He is enabled by the Theocons, the religious right wing nut jobs, including my own religion. So Bush actually thinks he is doing God's work, when he is really doing god's work(small g). They all worship the wrong god, the god of money and political power. But the Theocons and their minions in Indiana, Kansas, Texas and throughout the south keep voting for him. So the dying just goes on and on.

You will get the switchboard on the Hill, ask for your Senator, tell the intern we will no longer tolerate the great provocateurs to entice nations nor incite fear in country to attack Iran. No longer do they deserve yes sir/ma'am, thank you ever so much, vote your conscience garbage, demand as a CITIZEN this type of use of threats towards innocent NATIONS will no longer occur. We as the body of our Nation have been inappropriately, undeservedly misrepresented in every part of Congress and you Senator will no longer have my vote, use the, "As Well, I am a member of a blank(I'm a Veteran, so I always say VFP)organization that is international and intend to send an email blast throughout the group so all will know of your need to incite nations and have our children die for your political aspirations. Screw them, 170 BN no strings this filthy group of cochon we call the Senate approved.

He can't get anything right. But he's a genius at screwing up. There is nothing to keep him from doing something crazy and walking away from it. My feeling is that he's very dangerous at this point in his presidency. How exactly does he define legacy? 24/7 surveillance doesn't sound like a bad idea. I believe he should be watched. We have many capable people to talk with Iran or anyone else. But it's not Bush. Thanks, ANNA
