In case you’ve been living under a rock with neither internet nor cable access, you might’ve missed this recently unearthed clip of Bill O’Reilly experiencing, um, technical difficulties on the set of Inside Edition during his pre-FOX days. It’s good to see that the fame and fortune he gained from The O’Reilly Factor really hasn’t changed him that much — he’s still the same unhinged, unstable, belligerent blowhard he was when he had hair, and I’m sure tantrums like this date back to his infancy. And this guy actually thinks he’s an authority on raising kids?

O’Reilly has tried to laugh this off, but there’s plenty more fun to be had. In solidarity with his idol, Stephen Colbert released a clip of one of his own past freakouts, and Keith Olbermann invited an O’Reilly-type body language expert (actually Stacy Grenrock Woods of the Daily Show) to talk about BOR’s dictatorial body language “mostly seen by your Benito Mussolinis, your General Pinochets.” Some terrific remixes of BOR’s meltdown have started surfacing, like this hilarious one from Barely Political, and even a dance remix.

So we at FOX ATTACKS! thought we’d invite all of you to submit your own O’Reilly Tantrum remixes! As you can see from the clips above, there are a lot of directions you could take this, so go for whatever you think is the funniest and most entertaining. You can find a downloadable Quicktime version of the original clip here — the rest is up to you!

When you have finished your video, post it on YouTube and paste the URL into a comment in this blog. Once we have enough videos, we’ll put them on a page where everyone can view them and vote on them. There will be prizes for winners in multiple categories (TBD).

Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

Dance remix is by far definitely the best. I'm playing it every day for my two minutes of hate.

We'll do it live. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know FUCK!

What does that mean? To play us out? To end the show?

Yeah.

What would Bill O'Reilly be doing if he was in Iraq today?

Oh, I don't know... he might be advising the Iraqi army on tactics.

Maliki's Iraqi Army, trained by General Petraeus, was recently caught on film driving through city streets in armored humvees with dead, bullet-riddled bodies strapped to the hoods in decorative fashion, oozing blood and gore over the sides of the vehicles.

The video is not any more graphic than a typical R-rated horror film - I just watched Cloverfield, and that was far more graphic, definitely, and we all liked that film, didn't we.

Don't worry. I won't post it here. The film appeared on YouTube, and was then yanked by Youtube, but was then reposted to LiveLink, and now has gone missing from LiveLink as well. You can read the whole saga of this cryptic short film that I've seen, but now apparently few others will, at this link: "Iraq Army Desecrates Bodies of Mahdis"

Not exactly the first time, either...
US soldiers 'desecrated Taliban bodies',guardian.co.uk, Thursday October 20 2005

This is the kind of thing that Bill O'Reilly would probably defend - but he is more likely to not talk about it at all, just like Alternet.

"US soldiers caught on film desecrating bodies of Afghans, By Tom Carter, 22 October 2005

Australian television Wednesday broadcast a truly ugly scene: the bodies of two dead individuals, whose names are not yet known, burning side by side in a field with a group of five US soldiers looking on from a few yards away.

The footage of US troops desecrating two corpses in Khandahar, Afghanistan was filmed by Australian embedded journalist Steven Dupont on October 1. Nothing is known about these two people or the circumstances under which they were killed; however the US military has said they were Taliban fighters.

Another group of US soldiers (part of an Arkansas-based Psychological Operations (PsyOps) unit) are then shown broadcasting crude taunts over a rack of loudspeakers mounted on a military Humvee, apparently directed at the nearby village of Gonbaz, in southern Afghanistan. "Taliban", one soldier, identified as Sergeant Jim Baker, goads in the local language, "you are all cowardly dogs. You allowed your fighters to be laid down facing west and burned.... This just proves you are the lady boys we always believed you to be. . ."

One group of soldiers, not part of the PsyOps division, said that the bodies were burned for hygienic reasons. Even if they believed this to be the case, the act was clearly intended to intimidate the local population."

That's the name of the Bill All-Riled-Up game: intimidation.

Can we PLEASE move on to something important, rather than a temper tantrum by an idiot that has been remixed and reposted six ways to sunday?

Once was enough. This is not some new internet "meme", this is just pure meanspirited pseudo-journalism. I don't like O'Reilly any more than anyone else, but lets face it.. the more attention you give him the more you legitimize him, and he has been in the process of proving how illegitimate his whole career has been for some time now.
