Is OK with priests abusing girls. It is only the boys they have to renounce.

Your conclusions are flawed.

I'll break it down for you: when someone is asked whether people should renounce priests who abuse boys and answers yes, it DOES NOT FOLLOW that he/she believes priests who abuse girls should get away scot-free. That is a FALLACY.

Do you honestly think that Rev. Wright endorses the abuse of girls by priests or by anyone for that matter? Were you fully conscious when you wrote this?

Perhaps you should wait until you're no longer under the influence before posting. That way you'll get to speak your mind instead of your ass.

Why should this dedicated man and astute theologian be silenced in correcting the gross distortion and misrepresentation conducted against him, his church, his race and our history?

It amazes me that the vitriol and propaganda so tolerated by complacent citizens and diametric to standards of journalism, can also be dismissed for political expediency by Obama.

I understand but disagree with his decision to distance himself from this overt and abject abandonment of decency and professional journalistic standards.

We need leadership with the courage to stand for what's right. Barak Obama has disappointed his worthy pastor in not taking the courageous and just stand in this affront to the truth.

Lincoln Sound Bite

Agenda-driven pundits will likely continue to hammer on the Reverend Wright soundbites in a deliberate effort to link Obama to his words. People like that do not seek "answers", they seek to prolong a swift-boating episode that, amazingly, has had some success. I say "amazingly" because when anyone takes the effort to listen to the full context of the Wright soundbites, their impact is diminished significantly. Unfortunately, the soundbite is what far, far too many, will remember.

What if pundits had given the same treatment to Lincoln after the Gettysburg address?

Lincoln Disowns Troop's Sacrifice!

".... we can not dedicate - we can not consecrate - we can not hallow - this ground...."

(Rabid denunciations of Lincoln's comment are printed in newspaper editorials across the country.)
