Edwards was our best choice for President in 2008..!

Edwards was the best choice and candidate we Democrats had to choose from...He wanted to end the war for real, had the best Health Care plan and also wanted to go after and fight the corporations which Obama and Clinton will never do Edwards might have even gone after the criminal prosecutions warranted by all the members of the Bush Mafia..!

Obama is 60% a Republican, and Hillary 75-80% a Republican..McCain 40% Republican and 60% apocalyptic war monger Fascist..!

Comedians pushing the Democratic Party are not all that funny

We see this time and time again. We see comedians like Colbert tie themselves to the Democrats and then ceasing to be much of a laugh, but more of a bore. Bring hacks like Edwards on the show like this too many times, and you will lose your audience pretty much, Colbert. You then will become nothing more than a Democratic Party version of Jay Leno! Yuck!

I thought Edwards ran a great (white) campaign, but he's no comedian. And the thought that he might throw his weight to Hillary scares me silly.

What if...

I think John Edwards was the only real choice this country had. I didn't think we could go any lower than Bush but what we have to pick from is pitiful. John Edwards wanted to address the things that really matter in this country, what we're going to get is more of the same or worse than what we've already had (McCain). I don't know how much longer this country can survive. We're barely held together by a single thread as it is.

Well, not quite -- it's still making a dent in my chair -- but I thought this was a hoot. Especially like the bit (oops, sorry . . .) about Carville not having had his shots. It sounded and looked to me as if Edwards, Colbert, and the audience were all having a blast. Me too.

Or at least a better description. Please stop keeping those of us who can't access videos (we all have our weaknesses!) in the dark.

I still have his bumper-sticker on my car and I intend to keep it there until it falls off.

Hey, maybe if we get him a jet-ski he'll jump back in the race!

As one of the last states to have its primary, I'll write in Edwards' name, but come November, vote for whichever Democrat gets the vote.

I wouldn't say I'd vote for anyone, even Hitler, rather than McCain, but thankfully I don't have to worry. Either Dem candidate will be far and away better for this country than McCain. Ew!
