Air America's Sam Seder has a chance to take over the time slot created by Randi Rhodes's departure. It was just about a year ago that Air America made the foolish decision to move Seder from a daily show to Sundays; he a vital progressive voice on the radio, one that should be heard daily. No one fuses humor with political insight quite like Sam.

However, I hope they find a way to put food on their families, just as the other side of political entertainment radio does.

...he a vital progressive voice on the radio, one...

A nitpick...add an "apostrophe s" after "he" please.

they change their talkers more often than they change their underwear. I have been listening since day one, and in the New York area they have put on some stupid nutrition show from 9-11 a.m. It makes no SENSE.

Thank heavens for Rachel Maddow.

I've noticed many people mistake Air America and think that ALL shows on their local progressive radio station are part of Air America, which is NOT true. Many times, a local radio station will air Air America shows (Sam Seder, Rachel Maddow, Tom Hartmann, etc) and they will ALSO air other non-Air America shows (like Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, and now Randi Rhodes-who signed on with NOVA Radio).
On a side note, Sam Seder taking over Randi's slot? Are you crazy? Yes I love Sam Seder too but he'd basically be competing against Randi, who would crush him in the ratings. It would definitely be an unfair competition to Sam.
