O'Reilly Guest Insists Hillary Is Pushing a "Female Agenda"

Posted by Pam Spaulding, Pandagon at 4:26 AM on March 13, 2008.

Is this akin to the Homosexual Agenda? Do any of you gals out there have a copy of the plan for world domination?

I may not be a Clinton supporter, but when you have this level of misogyny floating out on the airwaves, all women are being slimed and it has to be called out. From the O’Reilly Factor, guest Marc Rudov, author of Under the Clitoral Hood: How to Crank Her Engine Without Cash, Booze, or Jumper Cables (no lie) said this:

O’REILLY: Tonight, we begin a brand new segment called, “He Said, She Said,” where we’ll deal with issues from a gender-based point of view. The segment will run every Friday, but we wanted to debut it tonight with a very provocative question: What is the downside of having a woman become president of the United States?

…RUDOV: You mean besides the PMS and the mood swings, right?
O’REILLY: But guys have mood swings, Marc. And you know —
RUDOV: Right.

O’REILLY: — they have other control issues, as we just heard with Governor Spitzer and we saw with various presidents. So come on now, let’s be fair.

RUDOV: Well, you know, I’m joking. Of course, the main problem I have is if a woman has a female agenda. If she doesn’t have a female agenda, if she just wants to be an executive for all the people, then all I care about is if she’s qualified. And I have no qualms about having a female president.
But if we take Hillary Clinton, she specifically does have a female agenda.

Right on, Keith and Rachel

Two of my heroes:

Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann.

Olbermann really nailed it with his Special Comments about the Clinton campaign. I just wish she would see it but I'm assuming her campaign would shield her from such an unfriendly analysis of their/her hatemongering tactics.

Maddow consistently, like Olbermann, is an intelligent, articulate, sane voice in a sea of media losers. She definitely did the right thing by calling Pat R out immediately about his using the 'shut up' thing. No one really wants to hear Pat's garbage anyway.

Agenda?

Is John McCain pushing a white, male agenda? Is Barack Obama pushing a half white male agenda?

I wouldn't use Margaret Thatcher as a good example of a woman leader.

Obviously, this is a manufactured debate which obfuscates real issues. Check out the work that Clinton has done and check the work that Obama has done. Look at what the real needs are in your country. Look at what they stand for and then decide.

America's Patriarchy Have Love Their Historical Legislative Apartheid!

Men represent a minority of the American population. The affluent men who legislate represent a fractional minority of the male population.

Legislation systemically fails to appreciate women's needs and always is adopted with a male perspective and orientation.

For instance, does the U.S. govt conduct and or take seriously gendered analyses of budgets. NO!

In Canada, we have the Status of Women Commission, which sough to promote "equality",and engage in such critical analysis of legislative inequity and ignorance towards women's unique needs, but the Republican'esque Conservatives up here removed that mandate.

Consider that women represent a majority of the American, and Canadian, and global population. When men legislate without considerations for womens' need, well my chumigos, that sort of minority rule becomes oppressive, subverts equality, and is nothing but absolutely representative of one big friggin male agenda.

That gentlemen in the video should be ashamed of his intellectual dishonesty and lack of critical rigour.

Cheers from Canada.

Bill O has got to be the stupidest man on the face of the earth. If women have a female agenda does that mean the men have a male agenda? These guys are bufoons. I can't believe they're still on the airwaves.
Fox news should be retitled to Entertainment for the idiots among us.
