Amy Holmes took a camera crew to a women's hair salon (Oh! My Nappy Hair studio) in Los Angeles and asked them what they thought of the Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards. It sounds like Obama has a lot of fans, Edwards is gaining momentum and Hillary is in trouble. Check out the video to your right for more.

This was OK. The feature would have been a heck of a lot better if Ms. Holmes would have asked more open-ended questions of these ladies instead of offering up her own opinions throughout the discussion. It's the quickest way to get an interview subject to stop talking.

Why a Black Salon?

Why exactly a Black salon?, Are you continuing the myth that Obama only appeals to Black voters?
Obama did win Iowa, and was only 3% points behind in New Hampshire,
predominately White states. He picked up nearly as many delegates as Billary in Nevada.
He appeals to Dems, Repubs, and Independents. and has influenced the huge voter turnouts among voters, in each states so far.
Please give the race and gender thing a rest.
