Via Think Progress, Mitt adviser, former Senator Jim Talent, shows the desperation of the Romney campaign to woo conservative Iowans. He attempts to convince the target voter base that his man is no mo' fo' the homos on Hardball tonight:

TALENT: He's always had the same position as to regards to the gay agenda. Look, he wants to know people to know he values gay people as people, okay? But he doesn't want the militant gays to be able to change the cultural institutions of the country. He ran strongly in favor of traditional marriage when he ran for governor.

How did Talent obtain one of our secret documents?

And I can't let this bit of astounding ignorance by Mike Huckabee go unnoticed here. He's going on Jay Leno last night, crossing the picket line, saying that he was unaware that the show's writers are on strike with all of the rest of the Writers Guild of America.

This was after the rapist/murderer-releasing Baptist minister-without-a-theology-degree GOP candidate said, I assume with a straight face, that he supported the striking writers. When informed that the Leno writers were part of the action, Huck still boarded a plane to cross the line to tape the show. Nice convictions, Huck. That whole ignorance thing may just pay off; look at the lightweight sitting in the Big Chair now.

He values gays as people, ok? But he wants to keep them from marrying (though it happened in his state and NOTHING bad happened because of it.. shocking, I know.) or from having anything near equal rights.

So... he values gays as people... but he doesn't want to TREAT gays as people.

Romney is NOT going to be the next President of the US! Romney is just another gutless wonder who isn't sure what his position should be to get those American votes he wants therefore he changes like the wind to appeal to the latest poll! I don't give a damn what Christians or anyone else thinks about homosexuals so long as they don't try to prevent homosexuals from having equal rights since they are American tax paying citizens who deserve no less!

anti-gay is a trait shared by the likes of skinheads, nazis, hitler, white supremacists, schoolyard bullies, the kkk, rednecks, the pope (who likes to wear tall red leather boots), bush, and republican presidential candidates. this company speaks volumes. why can't people make this connection?

I am proud to be a Missouri Democrat who participated in getting Talent voted out.

Next on the agenda, Blunt. Both of them! Another Father/Son combo, almost as bad as the husband and wife thing the Democrats are trying to ram down our throats.

Oh well.

can you beleive this mannequin is a front runner? the republicans are so shell-shocked from all the illegal shit and closet cases and corruption, I think they threw darts at a board.
the only hope they have is that the voting fix is in again. but I got news for them. I will be one of the observers on election day. and I won't be alone motherfuckers
