Fox News Attacks: Edwards and Obama [VIDEO]

Recently, Chris Wallace, a man who traded in a career in journalism for the more profitable world of propaganda, deigned to lecture Democratic presidential candidates on how they were just destroying their campaigns by not going on Fox.
"I think the Democrats are damn fools [for] not coming on Fox News," Wallace said. "And my guess is that once you get a nominee, they probably will come on, because they know that we get a lot of voters they are going to need if they are going to win the election."Apparently, in between segments on bare bouncing breasts and Sean Hannity's defending white supremacists, it would make sense for John Edwards and Barack Obama to go on a network that has spread false rumors about both ad nauseam.
So why would Democratic pols go on a station that continually demonizes them and their politics, and furthermore, where a relatively recent survey shows that the viewers voted for George W. Bush over John Kerry by 88% to 7% (the other 5% wrote in Pinochet I'm guessing)?
As former Fox reporter/anchor Jon Du Pre put it in the documentary "Outfoxed," "We weren't necessarily, as it was told to us, a newsgathering organization so much as we were a proponent of a point of view ... we were there to reinforce a constituency."Maybe Chris can explain that to us someday, in between reminding his viewers that WMD were indeed found in Iraq and George W. Bush is just Churchill with a better package in a flight suit...
