Fox News Attacks: Edwards and Obama [VIDEO]

Why would it make sense for John Edwards and Barack Obama to go on a network that has spread false rumors about both ad nauseam?

Recently, Chris Wallace, a man who traded in a career in journalism for the more profitable world of propaganda, deigned to lecture Democratic presidential candidates on how they were just destroying their campaigns by not going on Fox.

"I think the Democrats are damn fools [for] not coming on Fox News," Wallace said. "And my guess is that once you get a nominee, they probably will come on, because they know that we get a lot of voters they are going to need if they are going to win the election."

Apparently, in between segments on bare bouncing breasts and Sean Hannity's defending white supremacists, it would make sense for John Edwards and Barack Obama to go on a network that has spread false rumors about both ad nauseam.

Now I enjoy going on Fox now and again myself, because beating up on hapless Republicans, whether on Fox or other cable channels, is such an absolutely cathartic experience. But to teach the obviously cerebrally challenged Mr. Wallace about how politics works, well Chris, you win by getting the most votes (or having your party control the Supreme Court).

So why would Democratic pols go on a station that continually demonizes them and their politics, and furthermore, where a relatively recent survey shows that the viewers voted for George W. Bush over John Kerry by 88% to 7% (the other 5% wrote in Pinochet I'm guessing)?

As former Fox reporter/anchor Jon Du Pre put it in the documentary "Outfoxed," "We weren't necessarily, as it was told to us, a newsgathering organization so much as we were a proponent of a point of view ... we were there to reinforce a constituency."

Maybe Chris can explain that to us someday, in between reminding his viewers that WMD were indeed found in Iraq and George W. Bush is just Churchill with a better package in a flight suit...

Nice to hear that the pinheads that listen to Faux news are the same asswipes keeping Bush in office destroying this country, and they're too stupid to realize it,too bad Chris joined the Faux crew, and he can't understand why neither Obama or any other thinking entity would not wish to go onto that pack-o-lies news spin station, then he's dummer than a bag of nails! I've always wondered how otherwise intelligent people can spew the lies of that station,it's got to be one hell of a lot of money!! what sell outs!!

The good thing is that they MUST be REALLY worried about Obama and Edwards which is why I would vote fo EITHER of them >
As for Bill "O" if you want see a REAL Phoney buy a mirror . He is the Isiah Thomas of Broadcasting both have been involved in Sexual Harrasment Suits Bill settled his while Isiah LOST his.
As for Hannity asking What's wrong with pointing out that Huessein is Obama's middle name . well Sean EVEN YOU can't be THAT stupid . It is obviously an attempt to connect him to the Islamic faith and Saddam as well . The fact that unlike some who DO use their middle name's such G GORDON Liddy obama does NOT shows just how spurious this is . Of course if that fails you can have your Faux News anchors call him Osama "by mistake" like a dozen or so times .

But here is my advice to both. Challenge O'Reilly to a fist fight.

The 'man' is clearly a PUSSY.

FOX WANTS HILLARY

The point is this: They WANT HILLARY because HILLARY can be beaten.. Edwards and Obama will win against any of the GOP contenders. Clinton on the other hand, will be easy to defeat because the hatred in the red states runs deep.

IMHO: Edwards is the best shot the Dems have.

Bill "filafel loofa" O'Rielly, Michelle "Jackpot Baby" Malkin, Sean "High School Dropout" Hannity, mAnn Coulter, Rush "EIB-excrement in broadcasting" Limbaugh, Glenn "Nice to see you sober" Beck, Michael Savage Wiener and a host of many more lunatics in the shock and awe stormtroops of the GOP propaganda ministry are the real pinheads, and like the poor, the stupid will always be among us.

The right wingers are supporting Hillary because either way, they win; whichever party won the election, the neocons would still be in control.

Confront each liar on each lie

The best way to answer these Faux slimers is to address each one of them by name and simply tell the truth. No food fight necessary, just tell the truth.

For example:

"On Dec. 15, Fox News' Chris Matthews said I was a Muslim. I'm not a Muslim, you know it, and he knows it."

"On October 12, Fox News' Ann Coulter called me a "faggot". That's a word I don't normally use, but if she meant to say I was gay, I'm not gay. She knows it, and you know it. I'd demand an apology but I won't bother because she won't apologize. Next question."

No big deal. Just point it out, answer it with the truth, and move along.

If Al Gore and John Kerry would have done that they may have won their contests.

-Wexler

It was always interesting to see what kind of negative "facts" they would run across the ticker at the bottom of the screen under the Democratic candidate as that candidate answered their questions. No one but Tim Russert has a bigger contrast between constantly badgering, talking over, and "when did you stop beating your wife," questions of Democrats and lobbing softballs to Republicans than Chris Matthews of Fox News Sunday.

One particularly egregious but "under the radar," dirty trick Fox News Sunday pulled on a Democratic Senatorial candidate stands out in my mind. Chris Matthews did a lead-in to the interview showing a twenty year old picture of the candidate on the screen, in which she was much younger and prettier. This contrasted jarringly with her current appearance, certainly leaving many viewers with the impression that she was vain and deceptive, when she had nothing to do with the picture they showed.

Let's face it, even Rupert Murdoch has seen the writing on the wall and is betting on Hillary.

Murdoch is the owner of FOX and Roger Ailes is the "news?" director. Murdoch is a well known rich right wingNut. Ailes is and has been for years, a Republican thug going back to Nixon and Reagan. FOX is NOT news - it's RepubThug garbage.
