In the video to your right, George Clooney gives a video message of congratulations to his Ocean's Eleven co-star Julia Roberts for AMC's American Cinematheque Tribute. Filmed back in October when the Larry Craig story was first becoming national news, Clooney has some fun with it, filming his message in a bathroom stall, and there's a big surprise as to who is the "toe tapper" in this version. His Holy Hotness, Mr. Sex on Legs and the coolest filmaker in Hollywood. Funnies thing I've seen in ages was this video.

But in all seriousness - even if Larry Craig DID tap his toe and try to pick up a man in a bathroom for sex - that is not illegal! It is not illegal for two gay men to hit on each other. In the 1960's a famous landmark court case decision threw out the sodomy laws which made it criminal offense to do gay sex.

I can't stand Larry Craig - but he shouldn't be forced out of office - IMHO it isn't a "sex scandal" whats the big deal - he's a closeted homosexual and deserves compassion. Lots of gay men lead double lives and are married with kids for decades.

Last night on CNN there was a stupid report about a huge "sex scandal" in DC. Teenage interns were having sex with each other and hooking up in their dorm. Big deal. Snooze fests as far as I am concerned.

These sex scandals are all concocted to obscure the real issues we need to focus on like IMPEACHMENT and ending the war, global warming and our stinkin' economy which is circling the drain, health care, etc.
