Sen. Trent Lott's resignation announcement Monday may have woken many on Capitol Hill out of their tryptophan stupors, but speculation over his replacement is not surprising anyone. The focus is on Mississippi Rep. Chip Pickering and Roger Wicker as the most likely candidates to replace Lott.

Pickering announced this summer that he would be retiring from Congress after ten plus years to spend more time with his family. If Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour appoints Pickering to Lott's Senate seat, then he'll be hitting the campaign trail instead of going home. Lott's seat will be up for grabs again in a special election occurring the same day as the November 4, 2008 general election.

And if that's the case, Pickering might find himself answering questions about his cameo in "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan." Pickering appeared at a Pentecostal gathering where theories against evolution were cheered and the Chief Justice of the Mississippi State Supreme Court declared that America "will always be a Christian nation until the good lord returns."

Watch the scene to your right.

Being from England, I find you Americans crasy

It is funny how you complain about religious racism elsewhere, when it is alive and well in the craziest, most violent, most stressed out nation in the history of mankind.

It is damnable, that no less than a Chief Justice believes in this mythical "second coming". No doubt he is a Zionist.

It is damnable that over 40% of Americans do not believe in evolution.

Given that radical Jews are firmly in control of the mass media, and with the "military-industrial complex" growing in influence, it is safe to say that your country is "Going to hell in a hand basket."

Thankfully we have GWB to show the world how crasy, ignorant and black natured so many of you are.

Yes, this video presentation leaves me with little hope for you country.

that ninety percent of "social criticism" consists of trashing other people's taste?

That said, if I must choose I'll take Gregorian chant.

There are those who credit the film Borat with the Democratic victories of election 2006. I can't say I disagree.
I saw the film and found it the most vulgar but screamingly funny documentary on America the Ridiculous, America the Greedy, America the Stupid, America the Crazy that I could have possibly imagined. Borat caught just about every right wing lunatic and Bush-besotted redneck with his pants down. And the Jesus freaks in this scene simply skewered themselves royally. Totally delightful!

Complaint Veterans medical stopped 8-14-07
Peter Macdonald 465 Packersfalls rd Lee NH 03824 603-659-6217
My veteran’s medical has been stopped for injuries that I received in the line of duty. I was injured three separate times during my Vietnam Conflict tour. Two were received in separate combat support missions. NH, judges and government officials do not want me to volunteer help a Madbury NH family so they stop my medical. The news media refuses to inform the public. A veteran’s health can not be used as a weapon by public officials to stop free speech. The VFW and American Legion have taken a deaf ear. Bush along with all the other federal officials ignore me. I am a nobody that has volunteered since I came back in 74 helping others. I have violated no laws. NH, harmed my character in the public eye with the help of the news media. NH government officials openly use their trusted positions to have VA doctors use my medical care to harm me. The NH veterans director Mark Levenston has now stopped my medical care. The news media censors the truth for reasons I would love to hear. I voted for John Lynch because I trusted what he promised to the voters “bring ethics back”. Governor Lynch charged me money to complain to him. He took my money and refused to meet so I could inform him of the facts. The people of the United States must be informed of what NH is doing to a disabled veteran. There must be some one left in the news media to print the truth. Print my opinion with a disclaimer. Is this not what our military are giving their lives for on this very day? I am a veteran who at 17 gave my life for this country. I continue without regret because I never want this to happen to any other veteran. For the NH or U.S. governor me to use disabilities received defending this country to stop free speech must be a crime. I have no place else to go because violence does not belong in a civilized society. Contact VA inspector general he refuses to help me vaoighotline@va.gov and NH governor at john.lynch@nh.gov
