I'm voting for Kucinich in the primary and as a write-in, if necessary, in the November election. If my vote helps make Guiliani president, his particular political horror show--which is exactly what it will be--may contribute to the final extinction of the arrogant mindless tribal pattern the US has been for a good part of its existence.

It's probably too late even for Kucinich and Gore and Amy Goodman and others with their wisdom and vision to stave off the outcomes looming over the horizon. I often wonder whether the election of people with the honesty and integrity of Dennis Kucinich et. al. to public office since the inception of the nation would have reduced the taint of genocide and greed on our own history. Were that the case, we would have developed the ability and earned the right to contribute to an international dialogue addressing urgent global issues.

Only as radical a shift as electing people like Kucinich to re-route the raft offers any possibility of minimizing the effects of years of selfish stupidity. Only such a radical shift would give us the right and the credibility to speak in a world forum.

As it is, however, I have little to no faith that such a shift is in the cards. And so it will probably continue to be that any individual or nation listening to official US Orwellian-Patriot-Act-Speak is as damned as we.

I have just decided which candidate I will back and which campaign I will work for - which candidate for whom I will devote my time, energy and money - Kucinich.

I reached my decision primarily because of his response on the last "debate" - when Blitzer, who was running the dog and pony show called a "debate" keep trying to shut him up and Kucinich kept telling us the answer to what was necessary to do to prevent this renegade, criminal administration from doing even more damage than they had already done to our country.

"You impeach them! You impeach them NOW!....NOW!"

Kucinich is right!

Cheney, and then Bush must be impeached now! Now!

Now! - before they can start another war of choice!
Now! - before they can destroy our Constitution to the point that the damage is beyond repair!
Now! - in order to return our country to the “nation of laws” that it was before and must be in the future order for our democracy to survive as we have always known it - with a government that is not so blatantly corrupt that it has lost all respect and whose elected leaders honor their oaths to honor and protect the Constitution and to obey the law.


Previously I had been of the opinion that we needed to support whichever candidate seemed to be the "most electable" in order to defeat the criminal Republicans in the next election, and to a degree that remains true- but after the Democratic Party Convention and after the Democratic candidate is chosen, and hopefully Kucinich's positions will win him enough popular approval by then for him to become the Democratic candidate.

I am so sick of the do nothing Democratic Party of today with its do nothing members of Congress whom we worked so hard to get elected, especially Pelosi, Reid and Hoyer who do nothing to obstruct the Bush administration and their co-conspiratorial Republican rubber-stamp members of Congress.


This criminal out of control administration has committed treason –
by fabricating and presenting false "evidence" to Congress in order to ensnare our country in the fiasco of their pre-emptive invasion and continuing war in Iraq; for not protecting our country by pursuing our enemy, the ones that did attack us - Al Qaeda and the Taliban, our real enemies that this administration has chosen to ignore and allow to regroup to pose an even greater threat to us and the rest of the world than they did before and who are in Afghanistan and Pakistan, not Iraq; for not securing our ports and borders so that enemies of our country can not simply just cross the border unimpeded and set up cells to attack us, or have the ability to ship a dirty bomb to one of their cells through one of our unprotected ports using container that will not be inspected; for committing the crime of sabotage by conspiring to out one of our covert spies - a crime of treason that by law carries the death penalty in time of war; And for committing so many more crimes against America than can be counted.

And, what have our elected Democrat members of Congress done about any of the above?

NOTHING!!!

I refuse to vote once again for the least harmful of the "win-ables." Dennis has been my candidate from the start. No one else comes close in intelligence, integrity, and spunk than Dennis Kucinich (perhaps Gore, but he refuses to enter the race).

I do. If Dennis could win just a few states, he would have a bargaining tool with electoral votes to have some effect at the Democratic convention. If he could just get some of his ideas into the Democratic platform, it would be a "win" for the people. My state (Oregon) has no effect on the primaries unless we could get a win for Dennis. How many other states are left in the dust like Oregon? I am so tired of the media telling me who I vote for.

I can't believe as one versed and committed to the unique and historical American experiment in democracy that none of the Dems answered Wolf's inane question, "human rights OR national defense?", with the most famous quote from one of our founding fathers on the subject:

Dennis is the only candidate who has the courage and integrity to speak this way.

I watched the entire debate on television, and it was far into the debate before Dennis was asked even one question! I feel he was ignored, and this is shameful behavior on the part of CNN! All news people who try to ignore and marginalize him ought to hang their heads in shame because they are doing the American people a grave disservice. Also, Wolf did ask several pointless, leading, and trivial questions of the candidates. Dennis was the only person with the clarity and presence of mind to call him on it.

I am a loyal Democrat, and I will more than likely support whoever my party elects, but far and away Dennis is the only one who has the clear vision, the guts, the intellect and the right stuff to lead our country out of the slimy pit, and to make our country great country again.

The other Democratic candidates, and probably one Republican, Ron Paul, could in all likelihood be good enough, but Dennis is the only one capable of restoring our country to integrity, peace, and greatness. With anyone else, even with someone who seems like a relatively good choice, we are risking too much. Dennis is the best choice.

God bless Dennis. America needs him....desperately.

Kucinich got huge approval fromt he audience, including the soldier who has done 3 tours in Iraq and his mom, when he mentioned impeachment. Why does the media not get that the people want Bush and Cheney to pay for their crimes?

Dennis is the only real Democrat running. John Edwards is trying to tell people that Hillary is a DLC shill, but he's not saying it clearly enough. Even he isn't what we need though - we need Kucinich to end the war and clean up this mess.

With the sole exception of Mr Kucinich, all of the Democratic candidates do not support putting Bush and Cheney on trial for their criminal activity.

Probably because they want the same amount of imperial power as Bush/Cheney.

If Hillary Clinton gets elected, she will continue Bush's foreign policy. Instead of immediate withdrawal from Iraq because it is an illegal war, she would continue to have a US military presence. Her position is on Iraq and Iran is clear. Instead of getting out, she wants to use Iraq as a base from which to threaten Iran:

"I do not believe that we should allow this to be an open-ended commitment without limits or end, nor do I believe that we can or should pull out of Iraq immediately. If last December's elections lead to a successful Iraqi government, that should allow us to start drawing down our troops during this year while leaving behind a smaller contingent in safe areas with greater intelligence and quick-strike capabilities. Kucinich most probably will not get the Democratic nomination. Not because he isn't the best person for the job but because he is the best person for the job. The National Convention has its own private agenda and it is not necessarily what is best for the country but more what is best for the party. So I suggest you let the National Convention play its games, spend a lot of money, and let them do their thing. As far as the Democrat or Republican Party is concerned this election has nothing to do with you. It is all about the party. So....

The Democratic or Republican Convention does not vote on Election Day. You do. They are trying to make you believe that their choice has to be your choice. Not true.

You want Kucinich? Well, because of the new computer voting it may be a little tricky to write him in on the ballot. Write in votes are part of the process. But we don't want any mess up on election day. So, be prepared and take a pen with you to the polling place. They may not have any on hand but that should not prevent you from voting for him if you bring your own pen.

I will take my own pen and write in Kucinchi for president and none of the above in for congressional representative. And I hope they have a copy machine there because I want a copy of my ballot. I could call the registrar of voters now and see what accommodations they intend on having for write in votes. Also, ask them about a copy of my ballot.

All write in voters can keep track of their votes if they have a copy of their ballot. This keeps the Secretary of State honest.

Representative Kucinich is the best candidate. He is the only one who favors Universal Health Care. He is the only one who has pushed impeachment of the Two Thieves - B&C. He wants to bring the troops out of Iraq NOW. As a veteran of 28 years active duty, I want the troops home NOW, today!

I am a professional, Hispanic woman who would have loved to have seen a woman in the White House, but in the end it comes down to not only voting for the candidate who best shares what I value in and about government, but what I value in and about a leader. Representative Kucinich is the only candidate up there with a consistent record of doing what is right for this country--not doing what looks or sounds good at the time.

The only thing I fear is that the voters of this country have gotten so used to thugs and criminals that they won't have the courage to vote for Kucinich when it comes time to. I so hope I'm wrong.

Lets not forget that America has CNN to blame for getting this administration started in the 1st place.As most of you will remember in 2000 it was CNN that told America that Al Gore won in Florida.At that point many Floridians that intended to go out an vote saw Cnn and thought their candidate had won,so they stayed home.Given the narrow margin that Bush won by,that CNN cost Gore the Presidency.I Am sure that Dennis Kucinich could make a good arguement out of that.
