I saw these two funny segments on Letterman last night and thought I'd share them with you. Letterman has been pretty upfront with his distaste for President Bush over the last couple years and it's been a delight to see him dig into him more consistently than any of the other late night comedians (not including Stewart and Colbert of course). One of my favorite segments he does regularly on the show is "Great Moments in Presidential Speeches" which is as simple a joke as you can get about Bush but still really incisive.

He plays two clips of say Kennedy or FDR and follows it with footage from one of Bush's staged "chats" and the contrast is astonishing. In the clip to your right, even Reagan seems like an incredibly articulate president compared to him. Bush is giving a speech and when describing Panama City he has to check his notes before saying it's in Panama. Priceless. He couldn't have just improvised that one huh? Check out the video to your right for more.

Digg!

I have two volumes of "Bush Speak," a calendar of "Bush Speak," and now a calendar of "Goodbye George." When compared to FDR, Lincoln, Washington, JFK, and even Reagan, Georgie is totally outclassed. Bush reminds me of Tony Hillerman's definition of an FBI agent: "Can't find his ass with both hands!"

Dave's humorous clips about George are so reassuring to many who feel alone in our complete disdain for GWB. Dave is so relevant!

Toi paraphrase Tony Hillerman's FBI comment, it's true that resident bush couldn't find his ass with both hands, if it was on fire.

Dave has been doing this for quite some time. I stay up for his show just for this segment many times. It's hilarious and sad at the same time. This clown managed to steal not one but two elections and remains defiant to his last breath. Is there anybody out there that doesn't realize what a purely inarticulate ass we have to call president? Oh yeah, Limbaugh,Hannity and Barney. Well I think Barney knows but he just pity's the poor bastard.
