The Daily Show breaks down Blackwater’s role very simply for those who’ve been out of the loop - They kill for money. This commercial celebrates the company’s accumulation of wealth over the years… and taffy. But mostly the wealth. Check out the video to your right for more.

They should have played this Megadeth classic while rolling the credits...showing some actual Blackwater-murdered dead burnt bodies in the background.

Extremely disturbing.

Now, no one ever figured out where the anthrax powder came from, did they?

The takeover of our government was an inside job. Are our lawmakers more afraid of tasking these guys, or of being caught having paid them to do their dirty work? I guess we will find out.

I hear they are being investigated by multiple agencies. Somebody on the public payroll has to actually be answerable to the public. They can't ALL pass the buck. I will be interested to see how this plays out internationally. That is where the big fish troll.

When do we find out HOW the dirty details got so well covered up all out in the open? The whole thing has been a big open, overused cat-box of a sand pit playground from the get go. How did it get spun all hep hep? How were we fooled? How will we fix it?

If you did then you might know what you are talking about. Otherwise, attention grabbing headlines like in this story are just propaganda.

that suk'd. instead of making up a fake history of blackwater, why not tell the truth. that blackwater used to work for the cia, retired (sort of) and started his own private cia to do the dirty work of the us gov't inside the guise of a private corp (which simply allowed the cia and pentagon to do their dirty work in private without those pesky freedom of info probes or senate hearings)...
that one really dropped the ball

It has become clear that Blackwater USA has become a threat to any hope for peace in Iraq. How can Iraqi citizens possibly feel safe when a paramilitary organization, which seems to answer to no one, is running lose on their streets.

There is enough documented evidence to prove that Blackwater's tactics as well as their attitude toward the Iraqi people and culture are inappropriate, to say the very least.

The recent incident involving Blackwater contractors opening fire in a predominantly Sunni neighbourhood, killing eight and wounding 13 civilians is the straw that breaks the camels back.

Does the US Government really want to run the risk of Blackwater USA starting WW III?

It's time for the US Congress to demand that the Department of State and the Department of Defense cancel all contracts with Blackwater USA and order them to depart Iraq immediately.

If you agree please sign this petition. It's time to end Blackwater's terror for profit.

It's Time to Fire Blackwater

The government needs to rein in contracting

Any critical function such as oh, I don't know, fighting wars should not be contracted out. Beyond that there is most of the government's IT functions (especially security) that should not be contracted out.

Anything critical should not be left up to a private corporation that is primarily interested in profits.

That was funny, and well done.

I like how they phased out the taffy division later on so they could focus on their core incompetency.

The Blackwater testimony as to its cost of training leaves out the fact that a majority of Blackwater employees have been trained by the United States Military while in the service. Why is the Administration spending duplicate taxes for the supposed training provided by Blackwater? Lets insist on an independent audit of the cost of maintaining this boondoggle.
