Giuliani Compares Welfare Recipients to Animals in Racist Video from 2000 [VIDEO]

In this deeply offensive and infuriating clip Rudy tries to make jokes about his harsh welfare policies as Mayor of New York.

The clip to your right comes from the documentary Giuliani Time which came out about two years ago and I implore all of you to rent it ASAP. It details, with lots of terrific, damning footage, Giuliani's entire political career leading up to 9/11. It's a stunning indictment of a man unjustly lauded for two very contentious and controversial terms as mayor of New York. This footage comes from a press roast in 2000, and it features Giuliani, who now thinks he should be president of the United States mind you, dressed as what I guess is supposed to be an African tribesman, complete with face paint and a spear, and using lions in the zoo to make a "joke" about his attitude towards welfare.

This same video features the now infamous footage of Giuliani in drag being hit on by Donald Trump. Notice that this video doesn't seem to arouse a single chuckle from the crowd. I wish this could be aired on all the major networks and then I'd like to see Giuliani try to defend this one.

Digg!

We all know that Ruddy and all others who throw hissies over taking care of the poor are right this minute doing things to provide jobs for these folks that will pay them a living wage... rather than waiting around years (while the poor still suffer with no support.. including the working poor) for jobs to materialize (what few do). Not that they will EVER pay a living wage, mind you.

Even worse than racist and insensitive, this is resoundingly unfunny.

It's all in poor taste, but the costume is from the stage show of The Lion King. At least what the touring company wore when they came to our town. That might lessen the overt racism but does nothing to diminish the absolute poor taste and bad judgment shown.

This footage comes from a PRESS ROAST, in 2000

This was from a COMEDY night held by the press in which he took part. He likely didn't make up the lines or the content, and merely participated in the program. These things are usually time sensitive, in poor taste, and contain a lot of inside humor. Anyone who would use this to characterize him as anything are foolish. NOTE: I am not a fan, and I don't intend to vote for him for anything. However, even if the Republicans usually don't, lets remember fair play. Using this excert from a comedy night (even if it wasn't funny) to prove anything about him as a candidate for President is ridiculous.

Once again this is republican sense of humor. Or the lack of it. Where are you Dennis Miller when we need you to try and save the Republicans?

Republicans are desparately seeking anyone else from this years crap..er..crop of contenders. The GOP knows that with enough money, they can get almost ANYBODY elected under the current system. But the key word is 'almost'.

After I saw those videos I wanted to throw up. Disgusting. Worse than the myth of the welfare cadillac. I sentence Mr. G to live in the projects on food stamps for a year and see how that changes his attitude. BTW I wonder how he sleeps at night knowing he is responsible for the deaths of 140+ firemen on 9/11 because he was too cheap to provide them with radios that worked.

Obviously none of you lived in New York City during Giuliani "reign" there. Whatever happened to all the homeless "squeegee people?" One day they were there at the Tunnels trying to wash your windshields, the next day .... *poof* .... they were all gone.... what kind of human rights abuse is that??
Giuliani is a sleazy womanizer married his first cousin and then pulled all types of strings to get the marriage annulled by the Catholic Church. Then he married his second wife, Donna Hanover, who starred in The Vagina Monologues, and played Jimmy Carter's sister, Ruth Carter Stapleton, in the movie, The People vs. Larry Flynt, Giuliani then openly cheated on his second wife, parading around the city with his adulterous mate, Judith Nathan. He even wanted to bring her into the Mayor's official residence in Gracie Mansion to openly live with him.
