I think Rudy Giuliani is going down the tubes. He just can't reign in his own ignorance and obnoxiousness enough to hold up well long term in what will be a long 2008 election season. A perfect example is his suggestion yesterday, which he's since backed off from, that he was somehow just as vital to the rescue efforts after 9/11 as the real heroes were. And now he's trying to making an issue out of the fact that the Democrats have used other terms besides "Islamic terrorists" to define our enemies around the world. In the video to your right Stephen Colbert has a terrific segment on the rhetoric of Rudy. Check it out.
