Giuliani and Wal-Mart, A Match Made in Hell

Cliff Schecter: Rudy is spotted shopping in an Iowa Wal-Mart; maybe he can find the equipment he never bought the firefighters pre-9/11.

How cute to see Hizzoner pander to Iowans.

Maybe at Wal-Mart he can find the equipment he never bought the firefighters pre-9/11 so they could die while not being able to communicate with each other? Or perhaps he is shopping for a new Counterterrorism Center, one not stupidly placed right in the middle of the most likely site to be attacked? Or maybe he is looking for sex toys for his Southern Campaign Chairman, David Vitter? Or there is always that potential deal on Oxycontin, you know which he made sure his clients could lie about so thousands upon thousands of Americans could have their lives wracked with addiction?

He does tell us in the video how much he loves Wal-Mart. Which makes sense. They both come cheap. America's Moronic Mayor then offers that he doesn't want to talk politics, but is psyched to talk about The Yankees.

And yes, fans, that is what we need.

Another president who would rather be baseball commissioner than president...and would inevitably suck at both.

Will the owner of the two black SUVs...

At the end of the video, you can hear an announcement made on the store's PA system. I didn't hear what they wanted the owners of the two black SUVs to do, but I imagine they were illegally parked, inconveniencing ordinary citizens.

I wonder if those gas-guzzlers belonged to the pandering corporate whore who loves big box store "because they bring down prices" (and wages, and living conditions).

A true indication of Rudy's character is that his own daughter is supporting Barak Obama .
I hope the firefighters union continues to dog him everywhere he goes .
You have to question his judgement when he pushed Bernie Kerick for Homeland Security Director and had David Vitter as his Campaign Chairman .

The PA announcement said, "would the fascists who own the SUVs please move them."

Pathetic Political Pandering

The volksmayor shopping at Wal-Mart? What a joke. I'm sure it's the first time he's even entered any kind of retail store since he began his political career. I am SO glad this man is no longer the mayor of our city. I certainly hope the rest of America sees through his laughable act. I watched him on Charlie Rose and I fully expected a lizard-like tongue to come flicking out of his mouth to catch a fly buzzing around Charlie's head. The man positively oozes slime. Oil spill in aisle 4!

Not much for political discourse though. Why is that?

So does most of the country. Talking about the Yankees is probably a bad move politically.

Maybe that rich asshole can check out how much milk and bread actually cost... that way he can stop telling working people how easy it must be to get along with how cheap food is.
