Who's killing bills on stem cell research? Who's keeping the filibuster against Iraq withdrawal alive? Why it's Rovemort (played in this video by Seinfeld's Jason Alexander) an evil little caped creature who works for the Republican Party. Rovemort chants "no progress in Congress" and makes courtesy calls to the likes of Mitch McConnell and Brit Hume. He lives to keep the Democratic congress from doing good.

This video premiered at the Yearly Kos convention and was posted on Campaign for America's Future website shortly thereafter. It was made by Julie Bergman Sender, who was also behind the great Will Ferrell ACT video from a few years back. The video is part of a new online campaign, enlisting voters to put grassroots pressure on conservative obstructionists Check out the video to your right for more.

It's unfortunate that this video is accurate about how the filth in the MISadministration functions.

I say this to the democrats:

YOU ARE COWARDS, YES, COWARDS.
IT IS BEYOND THE TIME FOR YOU TO GROW BALLS, I.E., COURAGE TO STAND UP FOR AMERICA BY STANDING UP TO THESE TERRORISTS.

When will producers get over their "dark as death" lighting for web videos? Christ. I can hardly see ANYTHING.

Think, all you wee Spielbergs: wouldn't it be more scary if this were set in a sunny office, with plants and smiling secretaries around? Do you HAVE to use low lighting to indicate (gasp!) secrecy and conspiracy? Or is it that you think everything looks like a rave club?

The Dark Shadows "control room" look is so . . . 24.

In 1994, after stonewalling the Democratic congress for two years, the Republicans mounted a hugely successful campaign to (among other things) end the "congressional gridlock in Washington," and took over the congress before my dis-believing eyes. The American people elected the party who created the gridlock to end the gridlock. What was with those voters? No reasoning ability? No memory? Ignorant? And now we reap the consequences.

After the S&L scandals of the Reagan administration (1980's), in which mostly Republicans looted the Nation's S&L's ($150 billion), Republicans campaigned that they had always warned that "Big Government can't be trusted." (How cheeky is that?) The first Bush was elected shortly after. (Need I mention that the Bush family was well represented at the S&L feeding frenzy?) The debacle was resolved during the first Bush administration with $125 billion in taxpayer funds.

So I am not surprised that the Republican media machine expects to once again turn their own obstructionism and now, war crimes, into election fodder to benefit their party. Why do I not suspect it won't work? Why don't I feel it is too flagrant to work?

Given that much of Hollywood has major issues with Bush, et al . . . why aren't we seeing a flood of high budget web hits on the lies and distortions coming out of DC?

Hollywood's powerhouse of talent should be making high quality youtube clips attacking the hypocrisy, deception, and down right scary **it coming out of the US government these days.

HOLLYWOOD !! I SEND AN S.O.S. TO YOU !! I HOPE THAT SOMEONE GETS MY, I HOPE THAT SOMEONE GETS MY . . . MESSAGE IN A BLOG POST, WHOOAAA!!

All they want to do is hold hearings on everything. What a complete waste of time and money.

This was a very well done video. I hope you continue to do more. Americans need to be entertained. The mind control in this country is amazing. It has been perfected. This video puts the message out while the mind is hopefully still open. I still have hope that Americans will wake up. I know I did. Keep up the good work. Do you have a routine for detention camps and a gullible public? Didn't think so.
