This debate reminds me of the debate John Kerry and Nixon stooge John O'Neil had back in the 70s on the Dick Cavett Show regarding Vietnam. Soltz is a passionate, articulate defender of the troops, while Egland is a hypocrite who accuses Soltz, who's simply calling for real accountability, of using the Tillman case for political gain. The truth is Egland, according to Crooks and Liars, is often mentioned as a possible replacement for corruption-embattled politician John Doolittle in California. So who's really playing politics here? Check out the video to your right for more.

Egland, another phoney politician wannabee

Eric Egland is candidate for the Fourth Congressional District of California which is why he is touting his line. Basically, he wants to become a neocon poltician just like Bush. Bush also once praised Egland for something I can't remember but it must have been wonderful considering the source.

That Pat Tillman's death was murder, plain and simple, and proof of that is the expert marksmanship required to group those shots so perfectly. It was probably ordered from outside the official chain of command, perhaps even without Rumsfeld's knowledge, though I doubt it.

It was known by family members, friends and comrades that Cpl. Tillman had become disenchanted by our wars, and our government could not stand the loss of credibility or the resultant recruitment losses if he publicly morphed from recruitment poster boy to vocal war critic.

He had to be silenced, and someone thought they could get away with murder, and had it done. At least that is what I believe.

Will there be an exhaustive investigation of this murder performed by an honest independent entity? Don't bet on it. Neither the Republicans nor Democrats have the guts to demand it.

Folks,,,we need a better way, and so far, only the NeitherParty.org movement offers it.

Regards,,,John

It never changes. And we have Bush on TV this morning with more BS. Instead of offering condolences to those who lost loved ones in this horrible bridge collapse in Minnesota, he moans and b*t*hes about how Congress won't pass his spending bills.( The Democrats want to spend MORE than Bush wants to help our crumbling infrastructure.)

More loss of life thru Bush's stupid and just plain cruel policies. I can understand why some think Tillman was murdered at point blank range. This administration is beyond and beneath contempt. IMPEACH NOW!

You will never convince me that the news of Pat Tillman's death and how it occurred was not immediately received by Rumsfeld and Bush since he was the poster boy (they hoped) for additional recruits. Must have been a very bitter pill for both of them to find that Pat Tillman was an intelligent, free thinking individual who was not going to be used by them. Rumsfeld knew and he remembers...he just 'doesn't remember' as the rest of this criminal administration.
