The words excitement and Wolf Blitzer have never been remotely synonymous, so it came as quite a shock to many of us that genuine sparks occurred on his July 9th program, albeit all of the credit should go to his guest, Michael Moore. Naturally, Wolf being the opportunist he is---has been hyping up part two of his live interview with Moore ever since and even if it means getting his ass handed to him on a platter for another ten minutes, Wolf wants to be relevant, remotely relevant, so he'll take it. Moore is less fiery here but that doesn't make his points any less valuable or reasonable. And why, good lord why, do the cable networks feel the need to run titles underneath guests when they speak desperately trying to sum up their words in even shorter soundbites. We are not that stupid as a nation. There is nothing Moore is saying that any reasonable adult couldn't understand. Yet we must have a caption reading "Moore defends his film against critics." But I digress....Check out the video to your right for more.
