The words excitement and Wolf Blitzer have never been remotely synonymous, so it came as quite a shock to many of us that genuine sparks occurred on his July 9th program, albeit all of the credit should go to his guest, Michael Moore. Naturally, Wolf being the opportunist he is---has been hyping up part two of his live interview with Moore ever since and even if it means getting his ass handed to him on a platter for another ten minutes, Wolf wants to be relevant, remotely relevant, so he'll take it. Moore is less fiery here but that doesn't make his points any less valuable or reasonable. And why, good lord why, do the cable networks feel the need to run titles underneath guests when they speak desperately trying to sum up their words in even shorter soundbites. We are not that stupid as a nation. There is nothing Moore is saying that any reasonable adult couldn't understand. Yet we must have a caption reading "Moore defends his film against critics." But I digress....Check out the video to your right for more.

Blitzer was genuinely conciliatory and supportive in my opinion

Great Job with coverage Adam Howard of AlterNet

Now when CNN starts pulling or even reducing DTC=direct to consumer pharmaceutical ads, I'll know we are making even more progress

Michael Moore offered to give CNN stories...

Real meat and potatoes stories about Americans suffering at home, with no ability to redress and no help to correct this injustice... veterans... caregivers... Doctors... Nurses... patients... they list in the millions!...
and Wolf's come back is some garbage about Guliani and his rant about socialized medicine... [heres a secret Wolf].... Rudi isn't even going to be a factor this election cycle... as is any rethugnican... or any right wing religious zealot...

Michael Moore has the stories, he said he would give them to Wolf/CNN... but I bet that he's willing to give them to any mainstream news media out there... but they all just refuse to accept them or follow up on them... the sad thing is that he made this offer on prime time news television for all to witness... and they refused, you heard it right... refused to pursue.... real news...

a probable Pulitzer or Peabody, but the idiots just shrug it off... what a bunch of fools, and makes ya wonder is it really news or just infotainment... like "Inside Hollywood" or "American Idol" ...or...

There's such a huge mess to cleanup in '08... I pity the next group that takes over from the criminal organization currently in the White house
