In the video to your right, exposed CIA agent Valerie Plame's husband, ambassador Joe Wilson takes Libby supporters to task. As CNN anchor John Roberts pathetically tries again and again to play devil's advocate for the right's point of view on this issue, Wilson makes him look foolish with the facts. You'll hear repeatedly from Libby apologists that he never committed any real crime and what Wilson says to that is--look at what special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has said from the start. Fitzgerald couldn't get the full truth of the crime committed because Libby was repeatedly "throwing sand in his eyes" with his lies. Check out the video to your right for more.

. . . last night and it was pretty amazing to hear a former ambassador (to Iraq during the first Gulf War) talk like that.

Wilson expanded on that in a phone conversation with TPMMuckraker.

Question: Is it politically correct to lust after his superwoman wife?

interesting logic the media uses, as he points out... Libby, etc... lied so thoroughly that they kept anyone from being able to find the truth... thusly, there MUST have been no crime they were actually comitting crimes to cover up.

And since there was no underlying crime (you know... like getting a blowjob in the whitehouse) he should just not be bothered at all about what he did and should even be pardoned (instead of... oh... impeachment, disbarrment..)

I love Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame. Anyone who can deal with the shit that they have for the last four plus years deserves ultimate respect.
They are always classy in how they deal with the press about the Plamgate and recently the stop on Valerie's attempt to publish.
I hope they come out victors in the end!

I can't believe the US political system can be so corruptible as to allow treason to take place... Jeopardizing REAL LIVES in the process and still nothing is done about it 4 years later...

...for shame, America... for shame... maximum penalties under the law should be sought once these imbeciles are out of office...

WHERES THE OUTRAGE... WHERES THE OPPOSITION>>>

Hard to believe but the worst is still to come. Does anyone
believe that the monkey in the White House won't pardon
Scooter? There is no end and there will be not end until the
monkey is caged and the key thrown away.

His wife sent him to Niger and he lays around the pool most of the time.

She was not "covert" and the special prosecutor knew it was someone from the State Dept., Ricard Armitage who told Robert Novak about her. The Grand Jury should have been disbanded right then and there.
