Does Dick Cheney's new designation as part legislator, part member of the executive branch, make him a mythological being of some kind?

Leave it to Jon Stewart to put Cheney's attempt to destroy ISU and redefine his status as being outside the Executive Branch best, "since you can't shoot an entire department in the face, he resorted to a different tactic." It's really fun when one of Cheney's clearly insane moves to flaunt his power and lack of accountability captures the public's imagination and grows some legs. But then it dawns on you that Cheney will never be admonished by the President and so for the most part he gets to continue in his evil ways. Can you imagine Al Gore or any other previous vice president ever getting that much free reign? George H. W. Bush almost ditched Dan Quayle just because he was an unpopular idiot...but I digress. Check out the video to your right for some good laughs.

Since Cheney is not a member of the executive branch, he no longer needs secret service protection, nor the airplane that flies him to his secret meetings. The house can be given back, too. Why are we supporting him when all the other legislative branch members have to pay their own way?

How fucking sad is it that the only news program able to explain this to anyone is a comedy show? Even Olbermann was stumbling through this one yesterday. What an amazing time we live in. I agree with the impeachment notions. It's about damn time.

I think (and as a resident of Britain I appologise for butting in), but I think people are missing something wondrous here.

Obviously Chenney is the worlds first Quantum Vice-President existing in two states at once with the wave form collapsing only when asked to reveal secrets. This is a miracle of modern science, the man embodies the wave/particle duality of light.

Now if we can we just stick him in a box with a radioctive sample who's decay may or may not release poison into the box we could finally settle the entire Schrodinger's Cat experiment. This is a wonderful opportunity and shouldn't be missed!

And they'll take a bloody mile. We've been in deep doo-doo ever since we allowed the neocrooks to steal the 2000 "election". Now, it appears they think they can damn well do anything they please without challenge or consequence, and it looks as if they're right. The hell with trying to unravel this mess; we need to get the bastards out of office and into prison where they belong. Who's got the guts to get the ball rolling, or do a million irate citizens need to storm the capital?
